- From US$192.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 598 reviewsThe hotel is very special. We had our own cosy lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As it can be a bit cold at night, we even had hot-water bottles. There is also a heater. In the spacious area of the Trogon Lodge, there is very much to see, for example different species of plants and animals like humming birds, lizards and even Quatzals. The lodge does also offer a shorter and a longer exciting hiking track in the cloud forest. We booked a Quetzal watching tour in the morning and really saw about 5 Quetzals.Guest review byLukasGermany
- From US$202.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 660 reviewsThe hotel had the most wonderful surroundings, stunning mountains and beautifully cared for gardens. The room was clean and spacious and the communal bar and restaurant areas were really peaceful and comfortable. Special mention goes to the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you!Guest review byKaty
- From US$56.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 207 reviewsA small, but cozy cabin. The heater kept us toasty and the blankets on the bed are super warm. The shower is hot. There is a coffee maker. Ana is very friendly and helpful. The cabins are opposite a cafe and next to a pizza restaurant. The spare single bed was a great place to put our stuff.Guest review byAnne-LouiseUnited Kingdom

The area of Copey is very beautiful with all its mountains , river, and forests. It is usually cold, especially at nighttime. Ii is a great place to go to get away from it all and just relax in nature!Guest review byEmma DeannaCosta Rica - 8.0

The lodge is right next to the forest with several walking paths to explore for different levels of difficulty. Tres de Junio is also centrally located between San Gerardo and Santa Maria de Dota, thus making it relatively quick a visit to both as well as other National Parks and trekkings (Tapanti, Los Quetzales and Cerro de la Muerte). Plan for at least 3 nights stay.Guest review byLdA_HVItaly - 10.0

A great place to stay to enjoy some cooler temperatures, nature, birdlife and find those beautiful quetzals! Altitude is high, around 3000m so be prepared for that as you may have mild altitude illness which can impact the stay.Guest review byJessNew Zealand - 10.0
I really enjoyed the bird feeders off the deck.
I really enjoyed the bird feeders off the deck. I felt that for the price of the room, breakfast should have been included in the price, which is very typical in Costa Rica. The diner and breakfast were very good.Guest review byAnnCosta Rica - 8.0

It is really nice, we went to Savegre for dinner since we had a reservation made on one restaurant there, but I am sure that if you plan the trip to fully stay on Copey you would find a lot to see, walk and do there. If you decide to go and visit Savegre take into consideration that it is a 40min driveGuest review byKimettCosta Rica - 10.0
This place is a bird-lover's paradise!
This place is a bird-lover's paradise! And it's nice to feel cold sometimes in an otherwise warm, tropical country. Everyone is very nice, and very nature-oriented. The trees are all primary growth and fascinating and beautiful to see. This is one of my favorite places in Costa Rica (so far).Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 8.0
The hotel is quite rustic but cozy !
The hotel is quite rustic but cozy ! The room met our basic needs. The staff was friendly and informed us about their great walking trail of 3km---don't miss this experience! The food was DELICIOUS! Covid procedures are in place and followed. You are surrounded by beautiful and quiet nature! A great place to get away from it all !Guest review byEmma DeannaCosta Rica
