This hotel is very nice and well designed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Really nice beds and the towels and robes are so soft. The pool is very relaxing and the loungers very comfortable. The staff is very nice as well. Used the gym while we stayed and it was very well equipped. The location is great as can walk to the waterfront or to the unesco heritage sites. Really enjoyed our stay here

    There is a lot of nice stuff to say about this hotel. After staying there for a whole week, the first thing that comes to mind is that the people working there contribute a lot into making it a 5 star experience. Breakfast was plenty and with a lot of variety, all areas were cleaned and maintained well, all the staff was friendly and attentive, the prices and food offered by the hotel was of high standard. Something to note as well is that the view from the garden of the hotel is amazing. The closest beach is called Konnos and there is a nice trail to walk down to it. Staying near the swimming pool is also a pleasure , with very comfortable sea beds and grass area. Also you can order anything you need to be brought to you.

    The best hotel we have stayed in. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Amazing views from the hotel and dining area towards the beautiful sea, and even from the room we chose. The room was clean, including towels, shampoo, shower gel, lotion. Everything you need. We had a kitchen as well, which was fabulous. The staff are very friendly, including Constantinos and the cleaning ladies absolutely a superb experience. It's definitely a unique hotel and stationed right by the sea. I've been to the other hotels in the areas and this is my definite favorite. I will miss it until next time. Thank you.

    When we arrived, they gave us champagne and took our luggage to our rooms. We didnt need to lift a finger. Staff was very nice and helped throughout our stay with taxis and information we needed. Rooms and services were impeccable, food was great and the drinks were really good. One can also drink in the pool, on the sundecks, by the ocean or wherever one deems fit. After our check out, we could stay until our flight time was approaching and use all facilities except for our rooms, since we had to check out at 12pm.

    It's a nice place, the people are very friendly, the bars offer Cypriot breakfast, which is worth having. There are not too many tourists in September, so it is pleasant to walk around the city. The only information about city buses could be written more transparently, the stations should also be marked in English, and it should also be clearly stated on the bus via loudspeaker or on a board which station we are approaching - many tourists are confused because this is not the case.

    Very friendly, but professional helpful staff. General cleanliness was v.good. Our room was absolutely wonderful for our requirements. The location of the hotel, was fantastic. Makronissos is in our opinion the best beach in Cyprus! Not so good perhaps - the variety of food availability, with the exception of breakfast. Also, personally we would have liked sparkling wine to be available on an all-inclusive basis. We will definately book again, it was tremendous value for money!

    It's a very safe and friendly city. It is easy to get around and residents are even kind enough to offer you a ride in case you get lost and no taxis in sight. Despite the language barrier, most people at least try to speak English. The food variety is actually limited with most cafés offering fast food which is not a fave. Some organic food would be welcome, including green vegetables which are rare.

    Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus.

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus. it has a lovely vibe and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Pendeli Hotel for a luxurious stay or forest park if looking for a very budget friendly stay. Petit Palais is one of the oldest hotels in the square and is loved by locals and tourists. EnPlatron is one of my favourite Taverns offering great traditional dishes and live music on weekends. Kaledonia Tavern is also a favourite local tavern so make sure to give it a try Cleopatra Bistro is a favourite for modern dining and deserts and beverages. Beautiful and modern decor if looking for yummy fast food try I Sitzia Tou Mavrou for a delicious Gyros

    We chose a strategy of staying in a relatively central location, between Larnaca/Limassol and Ayia Napa, and rented a car. The drives were relatively short, around 30–45 minutes, with clear roads, no traffic, and a highway running across the country. I recommend others do the same.

    Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors.
