Regardless of what you prefer there is something for everybody and it is of high quality. 2 big swimming pools are available for guests and are always perfectly clean. Tennis court and gym (decently equipped) are also available free of charge. Couple of shops and mini markets are right across the street as well as 3 great restaurants. We chose a strategy of staying in a relatively central location, between Larnaca/Limassol and Ayia Napa, and rented a car. There are many small streets to stroll around.
There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers. You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel. Lovely little place with pretty houses to look at and a few facilities such as small shops and restaurants. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday and good to be able to access bigger places within half an hour if looking for a busier day. Nice place to escape from noisy city to a quiet place, highly recommend for group of friends, couples and travellers with animals. All staff are pet friendly. The area is nice and clean. The rooms are good and tidy, bed is very nice and comfortable, bedsheets are nice and fresh. Bathroom is good but has lots of plaque in the sink and shower facilities as well as glasses, plates and cutlery in the kitchen - will recommend to take it into management consideration. Located in the hills about 10-15 mins from the sea and beaches, Tochni is an unspoilt authentic traditional village with classic Mediterranean vibes. Many of the streets are pedestrian only, narrow and lined with charming stone buildings. In the centre near the main Church there is a cute little grocery store and fantastic village taverna. Larnaka is a nice city to visit.
Larnaka is a nice city to visit. well organized for tourists, with affordable prices for taxi rides, bus transfer from the Airport to most of the city destinations, nice beaches, restaurants, and shops. People are friendly, polite, and helpful. Connection with other cities is great. I ate at the Archontikon restaurant and Hobos cafe, amazing food and service.
