It's a nice place, the people are very friendly, the bars offer Cypriot breakfast, which is worth having. There are not too many tourists in September, so it is pleasant to walk around the city. The only information about city buses could be written more transparently, the stations should also be marked in English, and it should also be clearly stated on the bus via loudspeaker or on a board which station we are approaching - many tourists are confused because this is not the case.Guest review byleaSlovenia - 10.0

Very friendly, but professional helpful staff. General cleanliness was v.good. Our room was absolutely wonderful for our requirements. The location of the hotel, was fantastic. Makronissos is in our opinion the best beach in Cyprus! Not so good perhaps - the variety of food availability, with the exception of breakfast. Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Having stayed in the Peyia area at least twice a year over the past 10yrs sums up how nice the area is... Would highly recommend a hire car for those day's out to visit some out the way bars and resturants..
