UkraineEverything was perfect. We stayed with 3 year old child. I liked territory and parking. It was comfortable to sleep with baby. Bath was clean. Breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of options what to choose which is important when you stay with baby. Staff is cool, we came very late at night but we found a key and instructions so we entered a room without problems. I would give 11 points from 10 for this price.

United KingdomExtremely comfortable and quiet room. Excellent location, just outside Decin and an easy walk into the town. Very friendly and obliging staff. Superb food (breakfast and dinner) and a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel had a delightful, spacious and partly tree-covered patio ideal at any time of day. The pool and spa facilities were luxurious and much appreciated. The masseur was excellent. The hotel was very professionally run and the cleanliness of both public and private spaces beyond reproach. The car park was more than big enough for the number of guests in mid August. The hotel is also ideally suited to hill walking and excursions further afield ('Czech Switzerland', etc.). It is located on the outskirts of Decin, a historical city with a fine hilltop castle commanding wonderful views across the river towards the imposing hills.

Mexico🚆🛏️🚿⛰️ We took the S1 train from Dresden and arrived at the hotel just before 9 PM. One helpful tip: the ferry across the river is included in your train fare, so just show your ticket (which costs just under €9 one way from Dresden). That made the journey both scenic and affordable.
When we arrived (on a Tuesday), the hotel and bar were closing up, so I recommend checking in before 9 PM if you can. Since we stayed during the work week, the place was pretty quiet and we felt like we had it mostly to ourselves. Even though our room came with a shared bathroom, it felt extremely private for us as a couple. The water pressure was excellent and the water warm.
The room itself was clean and cozy, with a nice TV, comfortable bed, and access to a shared fridge just outside the room, which came in handy for storing our hiking snacks. Wi-Fi speed was decent, not amazing, but enough to get by. Overall, great value — especially if you’re traveling midweek and open to a shared bathroom setup.

GermanyWe came here for the second time on a bicycle trip. And we really like this place. Great for swimming, nice rooms, delicious breakfast. And a safe place for the bicycle. This time we also went to indoor pool with its great slides because of the weather. And it is also recommendable and affordable (hotel guests get discount). We plan to go there again.

A great launching pad for walking in the area. Hřensko itself is fairly basic, but with a few decent restaurants serving local dishes. Plenty of tat to buy on street stalls too if you want presumably knock-off Nike hoodies, watches where the hands fall off or a wide selection of butterfly knives. It's a base for hiking, not a place you would visit in itself. Access is easy by train and a 1 minute ferry trip across the Elbe. The center of Chribska includes a bakery, electric vehicle charging stations. Tourists come here mainly for hiking and seeing a natural landmark Panska Skala. Really nice walks around, hiking trails, forest, etc! Very beautiful and the trails are very clearly marked. I recommend the app mapy.cz to find the trails from the village. We were without a car which was a bit tricky because the bus from Decin is not easy to find, and when we hiked from there to other locations we had to order a taxi back which was pricey (but we walk very slowly, if you’re faster you can make it a round trip or hike back). But taking the bus from Janov back to Decin was very easy. If you’re vegetarian or vegan take in account that you’ll have to eat mostly potatoes and tomatoes all over the area. There is a small mini market in Janov. Also, most people in the whole area don’t speak English at all - only German and Czech! Really liked the area, the location of the hotel. Hospitality was fine but some things were really amateuristic or even unprofessional, like very bad English and / or German speaking staff. The restaurant is an absolute no go. A home made version of mint tea seems to be a tea bag in hot water and home made fries come from the freezer. Hrensko is beautifully placed village, destroyed by selling stands with all kind of "garbage". I do understand that this is city on the border (CZ-DE) so "overboarder trade" is local business, however either those kind of stalls should be placed outside of the walking center (e.g. on the river bank on the way to the border), or it should be nicely designed, not to destroy the beauty of the village. Lovely, very picturesque, nice restaurants, very affordable for small budget, too. Restaurant Ve dvore in Decin, duck was very nice, didn't care much for the bread dumplings Restaurant Bamboo in Hrensko, pleasant. Hotel restaurant Vypres, very nice. Getting around in Decin is easy. That corner of Czechia has been described as the lowest point of the country in elevation, and also in taste. There are numerous shops, all run by Vietnamese, selling the same unbranded shirts, shoes, etc. Anything that was branded was of dubious authenticity. I was caught out a few times as credit cards are generally unknown and ATM's will charge CZK195 (!) per cash transaction. Don't expect a convenience store selling day-to-day items, as the shops I visited focussed mainly on bottled drinks, alcohol and cigarettes.
