My balcony overlooked the clock and was lovely. Even though it is very busy, no noise is heard in the room. This is a truly one of a kind hotel with plenty of restaurants and tourist shops around within walking distance. The staff here are superb, especially Anatastia on the front desk. She was great help to me always. The women who picked up the mess left by people eating breakfast were efficient and hard working and deserved to be tipped ---- not that anyone but me did. I came there with no expectations, it was a stopover before the Berlin marathon. A place to get used to the 6 hour time change.
