- From US$204.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 602 reviewsHotel Rodderhof is a charming and welcoming place to stay in the picturesque town of Ahrweiler. The hotel features a lively and inviting inner courtyard — a great spot for socializing and enjoying the cheerful atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is generous and varied, offering plenty of delicious options to start your day right. We also appreciated the secure paid parking garage, which includes two EV charging stations — very convenient for electric car travelers. Our room was beautiful, with a stylish bedroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. It’s also truly impressive how well the hotel has recovered after the devastating floods of 2021 — everything looks fresh, welcoming, and professionally restored. All in all, a great stay with a perfect mix of comfort, character, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Ahr Valley!Guest review byBullseyeBeunNetherlands
- From US$441.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 83 reviewsThe photos online just do not do this property justice. It was far better than our expectations. We were greeted kindly then offered vouchers for free bubbles, also free is coffee and waffles between 3-5pm on arrival. The restaurant decor was great and food was superb. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. They even had a room where you can make any kind of juices with racks of vegetables and fruit and recipes to make them. Room was super comfortable and clean and modern.Guest review byNicolaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 245 reviewsHaus Appel and the Ahrtal Valley are an annual pilgrimage for my former academic colleagues and me. Following the floods last year, we were unsure what we find this year. While there is rebuilding for sure that continues, it was wonderful to find that the hospitality and graciousness of Haus Appel, the beauty and hiking in the valley and the excellent wine and food remain!Guest review byJudithNetherlands

Adenau is THE place for your typical quaint little village but its main attraction is the Nurburg ring. If you are a car enthusiast then this is the place but if you are in to cars then you would already know this.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Sinzig is a village with plenty of little restaurants but Hotel Tappes lies in the neighbouring village and it is a 1.5km walk into Sinzig (and the nearest open restaurant). I think it would make an ideal base for hikers and bikers.Guest review byStephenBelgium - 10.0

A great place for people who enjoy nature, relaxation, and outdoor activities! If you're planning on staying in an apartment in Wimbach, I would highly recommend traveling by car. Not only is public transportation in the area almost non-existent, but the city center and race track are also very hard to reach on foot. The steep terrain will definitely tire you out quickly. Unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way.Guest review byYNetherlands - 10.0

Cute old town centre that gets plenty of visitors on the weekends but not too crowded. There's a variety of nice restaurants in the area and places to try the local wines. We went here specifically to hike and you can walk straight to a number of scenic hiking routes on either side of the valley, no need to take a bus or drive anywhere, which was a huge plus.Guest review byCharlotteNetherlands - 10.0

spacey, quiet, with all amenities in the kitchen, but essentially no food except what previous guests left. But shopping (REWE) is very close and open until 9pm, so we could stock the fridge, no problems. Only one shower to share, two toilets. Owner is working on adding shower(s).Guest review byDieterUnited States - 10.0
