The room is worth every cent based on the bathtub alone - so if you are of an aquatic bent, this is definitely the option for you. All other facilities, including a lovely large bed, are on point as well. Breakfast-wise, the hotel's offerings were a little on the pricey side for my personal tastes - but that is "each to their own." There are many wonderful cafes and bakeries nearby that you can visit if you are of a similar mindset. The location was perfect for me. A five minute walk from the Reeperbahn, and more importantly, as an avid St. Pauli fan, a five minute walk from the Millerntor. A question here on Booking.com asks me if the area around the property is safe? Yes. It's safe. I was born and grew up in Hamburg, still love it, and always like to come back for a visit. I am glad the main part of the city hasn't changed too much and is still as beautiful as it was many years ago. There is a lot of construction going on at the moment, however, but I guess that's necessary to keep things in good condition.
