Good parking at hotel for a fee. excellent buffet breakfast including freshly cooked egg. Very extensive a la carte menu in English for dinner. Very friendly helpful staff throughout who spoke English. Wellness facilities including two pools and a variety of sauna and resting rooms including outside sun deck. Room had amazing sea view and lovely secluded balcony and lounge. King-size bed very comfy with duvet and two pillows. Coffee machine and TV. Bathroom with shower at working towel rail. There's nothing to fault this hotel and it's my second visit and soon will be my third!!Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom
- From US$244.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,491 reviewsWe had a superior double room on 6th floor with an amazing view over the port. The staff was so professional, kind and competent, especially those at the breakfast service. While variety for breakfast was not huge, everything was delicious and never in short supply. The room was not too big, but just enough for a couple's short stay, with a safe, bathrobes and free mini bar (with an extra bottle of water in the room). Bathroom with shower so neat! I'd love to visit again the city and stay in this hotel. Make sure you have a look at the weather before you go. It seems there is very often (really strong!) wind and rain.Guest review byEleftheriaGreece

We were perfectly taken care of, including our little baby. 🍼 We had a very clean baby bed, including super cute bed linens and towels. 🍱 Breakfast was very rich. The staff made sure to make us feel very comfortable and took care of us and our baby. They even gave our baby a little snack! 🛌 The bed was awesome. Nothing to complain there. Our room also came with a HUGE balcony!Guest review byMarinaGermany

The location is easy to reach from the Ferry, about 20 minutes walking or by taking a bus. Breakfast is excellent, with multiple options and very delicious food. We had a room to the street and it could get a bit loud late at night, but as soon as you close the windows, it's complete silenceGuest review byViniciusGermany

Our visit to Emden was only overnight. We stayed near the city center on a small yet picturesque canal and walked to dinner easily. I recommend it as a stopover. There were a few things to see and do but we did not have the time.Guest review bySweetieHUnited States - 8.0

It is not acceptual that you can't use the car outside the hotel although we have booked a parking lot in the yard. The time in the hotel I am a resident and I should be allowed to use my car. That has not been to told to me before the booking.Guest review byHeinzGermany - 10.0

We did not see Leer at its best on this visit, as it was cold and raining, and you need to wander round to appreciate the town, which has an interesting centre and an open air museum of historical ships in the old harbour. We had been to Leer before, and on this occasion only spent one evening as we were "in transit". The old harbour, with the "Waage" and views of the church is very interesting, and a visit to Bunting's tea shop and/or the museum is a must. The area round Leer is fascinating, with many old villages in a mainly flat and peaty landscape.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I especially like the numerous public transport connections. You can take the ferries, the trains, or buses. You can even take the trains to Emden and have even more options there. And in Emden there is a supermarket next to the station with extended opening hours.Guest review bySinanGermany - 10.0

My husband and love the cute harbor of Greetsiel, you can watch the activities there from the small bridge and took a boat tour for about 2 hours, we love it. We do love to dinning out and try two different restaurants. One of them was at the historical place, the food was good, the food at the other place was excellent. All the attractions located nearby, so you can walk around to them all.Guest review byYasmin Scheiber, SKp.Indonesia - 10.0

I would definitely advise to travel around, small villages, historical sites, sea, dikes, quite different from other regions in Germany. Peaceful, quite. Habits and the language are similar to one that is in North Nederland, Groningen.Guest review byM. AksitNetherlands
