The hotel most incredible of all that we meet in Europe trip, we are coming here and observed that the parking is full. But the pleasure quality personal staff helped us with another parking area!     The park is located in a beautiful area with many options for nature lovers, but also many kids friendly attractions even in winter. The house was very comfortable overall and extremely clean. We were several families with adjacent homes and it was very comfortable. The pool (included in price) is a few minutes away by foot. It is also well maintained and we loved the Solebad and the water temperature. there is a kids club, you can also take books and games. On Silvester there was a very nice program for families with a puppet show, music, camp fire and a few food stands for everyone with no additional cost. The staff was attentive, and came to fix the light in the bathroom very quickly. Overall it seems wonderful for summer with the lake and climbing forest which we were not able to use due to weather.

    Great hotel is very cozy, just at the start of all tracking routes. The room is spacey, the beds are really comfortable. The swimming pool is quite big and clean. The staff is very friendly, we have arrived later than expected and were late for dinner, so they have saved the dinner for us and serve it in the room! The food is great both for breakfast and for dinner.

    Absolutely wonderful place with amazing staff, making the stay as peaceful and problem-free as possible. The lake is very clean, the private hotel beaches with white sand make it feel luxurious.     In early September the city was busy without feeling...

    In early September the city was busy without feeling overcrowded. The great majority of tourists seemed to be German. Highly recommend the paddle steamer trips on the Elbe - we went to Meissen and returned by train. The two art galleries - the Albertinum and the Alte Meister in the Zwinger are excellent - with a good selection of Caspar David Friedrich and his contemporaries. It's extraordinary to look at the all the elegant C18th. architecture now and to compare it with the blackened ruins of 1945. Even more extraordinary to think that much of the reconstruction was don by the GDR. Well worth a day trip to Leipzig too - vibrant city, very different in feel from Dresden.

    A young, vibrant city with an active cultural scene as well as plenty of interesting history. Very reasonably priced for a European city stay with plenty of good value food and drinks options and free museums . If you enjoy getting away from the main tourist traps but still want plenty to see and , do Leipzig is highly recommended.

    A post-industrial city with many nice spots mixed with some that are not too attractive. I would say it's the best what former DDR (East Germany) had to offer: very open, modernist city centre with a lot of green areas and good public transport with the worst: boring and ugly Plattenbau. Many refurbished XIX-century industrial buildings and interesting museums are a huge plus too (honorary first place goes to Museum Gunzenhauser). Overall I liked it and maybe will return to the area some day.

    The location is beautiful. However, it is absolutely unimaginable to visit it during the main tourist season in summer. The crowds there will absolutely demotivate you. You will be waiting on ladders everywhere.

    -a place of nihilism and moral depravity, as any other area in Germany where I had been before. We only made a stop there because my wife didn't want to travel non-stop in one go from Poland to Luxembourg. One of my first impressions of Zwickau was the sight of an adult German who urinated against the beautiful 16th century dome, this on Christmas Eve.

    Book this very cosy hotel set in an idyllic hilly backdrop, polite staff, lovely breakfast. Spa area has a pool and whirlpool jacuzzi that has several jet options, there is a small playground and sauna, steambath as well. The family suite was the most spacious and comfortable one we have ever been in. The only downside is that there wasn’t a joint bed in the “parents” room but overall a pleasant stay with kids.

    Bautzen is a very attractive place with plenty of shopping facilities. The town itself could improve its historic appeal by pointing out more of its historic sights. The self guided walk ist just excellent. The town has a great advantage being so relatively small that it can be visited in a short period of time.
