What an awesome place, great and sare to walk around. Managed my 20k steps each of the 2 days we spent there. So much more to see, maybe next Euro trip. BTW the lion looks better from the other side.Guest review byK.Z.C.Australia - 10.0

It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I would say the staff in the 7 eleven at the station I do like the best, however at late card terminal may not be operation. Feeling safe.Guest review byMihályFinland - 10.0

The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. You can catch a train direct from the airport to Tastrup train station and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel.Guest review byAnnaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

I just need at quiet place to rest, wasn't on sightseeing... I'm not specifically interested in Ballerup at this moment... And therefore it was a bit annoying that the house was so noisy - late at night as well as early morning... The staircase especially was making a lot of noise.. It made me feel nervous that somebody was coming down to me - a lot of times...( I was in basement! ) I couldn't open a window either, just the door if I wanted some fresh air, and that wasn't very nice either... The room (s) were too big and 'spread out' in different 'sections', and that wasn't cozy in my eyes...There wasn't a 'night-lamp' near the bed that worked, only a lot of spot lights in the ceiling... Not that cozy even if the volume could be turned down... The man of the house seemed very nice, I met him on the way to the house, - as I was asking for advice concerning some road-maintenance obstacles that were in my way to get to the house. So they are most likely were nice people ... But I guess a big part of my disapointment comes from the fact that this stay was more expensive than a night in Hotel Zleep - also in Ballerup, 3 weeks ago...There I had a quiet room, no sound from the building, view to a lake, nice bed, a window I could open, GREAT BREAKFAST INCLUDED, everything clean and everything easy and flexible in terms of checking in and out etc. Much easier and more comfortable for me... So I will chose that next time...Guest review bySusanneDenmark - 10.0
Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed.
Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket, small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Otherwise a great hotel where we will definitely stay again.Guest review byLynnAustria - 4.0
Location and the grounds is very nice.
Location and the grounds is very nice. The breakfast is ok but served between 7-9am. Room was big but outdated. TV has few channel and no bluetooth. Two person bed was separate spring mattresses that kept drifting apart. Bathroom is not up to standards for this kind of location and price range. Its a conference hotel more than it should be. Ordrupgaard Art museum is super close as is the beach. Lousiana art museum little ways and Bakken amusement park as well.Guest review byAnnaFinland - 10.0
Copenhagen is a lively city, making it easy to walk around.
Copenhagen is a lively city, making it easy to walk around. All spots by the harbor were wonderful to enjoy the sunny days and have a coffee or a drink. I loved the small bistro and restaurants, but the best of all was the Torvehallerne food market with gourmet food, coffee, and wine. Tivoli Theme Park is a great activity for children, although quite expensive if the whole family needs to get on all the rides! I would certainly love to go back again, as the days spent in Copenhagen were memorable.Guest review byKonstantinaGermany - 10.0

Ballerup it self is a suburb that has everything you need.
Ballerup it self is a suburb that has everything you need. The bus connections are good, they are frequent and it only takes around 35 min by train from Copenhagen central station, path to walk and bike are well made to everywhere.Guest review byJ. RosianaDenmark - 10.0
We had a great time in Copenhagen.
We had a great time in Copenhagen. There's something there for everyone! Whilst there we hired a bird watching guide, met up with Uffe and spent 6 1/2 hours pedalling around seeing the wonders of Vestamager Nature Reserve. There's numerous museums and we particularly liked the Natural History Museum of Denmark and was lucky to see the 'Wildlife Photographer of the year' exhibition which was fantastic. The museum of happiness was whacky and interesting. It's easy to get around the city and it's outskirts using the Metro, buses, trains or bikes which you can hire from numerous outlets, often including your hotel. The people are very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are very expensive which was to be expected. We paid nearly £14 for three generous scoops of ice cream!!Guest review byGillianUnited Kingdom
