Hotel is very comfortable and located close to the center. There was everything we needed in my room including bathrobes, slippers, coffee machine etc I also enjoyed a view to the canal. In addition, they presented us a bottle of champagne and some sweets for my Birthday!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Very homely, relaxed atmosphere, indeed it doesn’t really feel like a hotel at all. Great location, spotlessly clean, and friendly staff. We stayed in three different rooms over two stays… the apartments are by far the best option, though the medium sized rooms are also ok for a short stay.

An exceptionally friendly hotel. The hotel has an incredibly kind and trusting attitude toward its guests. At breakfast, no one checks whether the guest has paid. There is no bartender at the bar — guests serve themselves and simply write down what they’ve taken on a piece of paper.     Breakfast was very nice, the buffet was not overly plentiful in terms of variety (but there was something for every taste to be sure) but everything tasted really, really excellent. The hotel is located near the sea, so it was very easy to go hiking in the area along the coastline - staff was quite helpful in organising stuff and the hotel offers really nice lunch packages for hiking. There is also a restaurant directly in the hotel which was very good (but quite expensive for people used to prices outside Denmark). Rooms are quite big. When there were problems in our room (water leaking from the ceiling after a strong rain), we got a nice upgrade to a really nice room with sea-view.

    Wonderfully unique hotel just a short walk away from the beach. In Danish style but not minimalist, rather more decorated. Very cosy and in great condition. Dinner was a lovely experience and fun to sit at long sharing tables and get to know other guests. Breakfast was delicious and on separate tables. All very well organised.

    Eventho rooms are bit tired , but still ok . Location in perfect. And staff there is absolutely lovely people. Helpful and kind.Specially lady in reception :) Would I choose same hotel again for next stay- definitely! And main reason is so warm and welcoming atmosphere those people create.

    The entire city is just beautiful and easy to access by foot or public transport. Every building appears to have been beautified in the last few years, or are in the process. Streets were clean and safe. Love the museums, parks and Tivoli gardens. Parking is not easy and expensive

    Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen.

    Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen. I don't know that I'd have ever thought to go there but my son decided to get married there. It was an ideal meeting place for both families as his wife is from Germany. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants and the ferry to Sweden is super easy to catch. We enjoyed our short stay. :)

    I've been to Roskilde for the festival every years since 1992 and also as a tourist off-festival. It's a cosy small Danish town with lots of restaurants and pubs + few sightseeing locations like the cathedral and the Viking museum

    I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.

    A city famous for its castle. Otherwise, classic countryside, from the point of view of gastronomy, nothing that would in any way stand out above the Danish standard. Bad taxi service, quite problematic for those who don't come by car.

    The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. You can catch a train direct from the airport to Tastrup train station and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel.

    It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I would say the staff in the 7 eleven at the station I do like the best, however at late card terminal may not be operation. Feeling safe.

    Lovely quiet place at the end of a dead road. Only traffic passing by is for 2 other houses. Beach and nature right outside the door. Copenhagen only half an hour away by train. Shopping mall less than 2 km away. Several supermarkeds in the area. We had a car to get around. If you are there without a car you would have to walk between 1-2 km to get to the train station and shopping

    A wonderful city with a unique history.

    A wonderful city with a unique history. Be sure to take a canal tour around Nyhavn – you won’t regret it. Two to three days are plenty to see the highlights, and if you visit during the warmer months, don’t miss the chance to spend a few hours at the coast – the sea is beautiful and the vibe is fantastic.

    Historic buildings extremely interesting, nice architectural design of the town, close location to many potential places worth sightseeing. A little bit too poor availability of restaurants, in particular on weekends. Very unfortunate system of payment for parking lots in town, complicated in operation and not always working. Personally I was very displeased with necessity to install mobile apps.
