Spacious room with a huge bathroom which contained a large rain shower and a bubble bath. Bed and couch where extremely comfortable, I have’nt slept this good in a long time. The rooms where quiet and cosy which made it feel private, and the staff where really friendly, professional and helpful. The sauna/spa was also perfect. We had an hour to ourselves at the sauna for free as a part of our deluxe-package, but did also book the spa the next day where we got a glass of bubbles, a snack-plate and rose petals around the private pool. We had the best time ever! We didn’t try the breakfast as we like to sleep in, but we recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Tallinn and like to treat themselves with some luxury for a reasonable price.Guest review byAndreaNorway

Beautiful medieval city, so much to see.
Beautiful medieval city, so much to see. We were there for four nights. Could easily have done five. An abundance of restaurants and very good quality food. Easy to navigate. A Tallinn card is really good value, we reckoned that we saved around one third on a two day card at 63 euros and the card covers most points of interest. Highly recommended. Maardu is a quiet industrial town near Tallinn, just 30min by bus from the city center. It has a lot of supermarkets, is rather clean and well-kept and feels somewhat safe. Might be interesting for fans of Soviet/industrial legacy and brutalism architecture due to town being almost exclusively built in Soviet era with mostly pre-fab apartment complexes. The bed was very high (as it was with old manor beds back in the day). We were travelling with a toddler and we were scared that they might fall out of the bed; it was impossible for the child to climb into the bed. The ventilation was poor, it was hot in the room (no AC), as it's an old manor. There's no kettle in the room, so you have to walk to the other side of the building to get a tea. It was pouring rain outside and there were no heaters or place to dry our clothes. There's also a lake next to the manor, assuming people want to go swimming, yet there's no place to dry your swimsuit/clothes. The bathroom was large (it was meant for people in wheelchairs), yet there's no way you could move around the room in a wheelchair, the room was very small. We didn't try the spa, we weren't in the mood. The breakfast was very simple - just an egg toast with some veggies and juice, served per table (you don't get to choose what you eat) + small desserts. Overall, the price is very high for the service you get. The manor itself is nice, but there's nothing really to do there and some key comfort items are missing.Guest review byVilciņa - 10.0

One of the most beautiful cities we have ever been to Lovely, neat, charming, history in every corner, nice atmosphere and a huge collection of stunning building . Hard to find a reasonable place to eat in fair prices - only disadvantage of . Manager Meelis knows the true meaning of hospitality. We have been to many special places around the world, nothing compares with his very warm welcoming and attention. The manor is enchanting, location and surroundings superb. We were treated like we were the only guests, and if this was our home. Breakfast was freshly cooked for us and had everything we wanted and much more. The way the old town has been preserved is amazing. uneven walking route, so take care with raised or broken slabs on the pavements. Overpriced bars in the square. We visited several brewery taps while we were there (Puhasten brilliant place and Pohjala) We travelled by Uber to get to where we needed to be.
