- From US$65.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsPalmse Guesthouse is located in a beautiful manor surrounded by an impressive museum and a charming park, perfect for walks. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a kettle and cups. Bathroom and shower facilities are shared, but there are additional toilets and showers in the corridor. Breakfast is traditional, like in a hotel, and the dining room is spacious, with a lovely dollhouse nearby. At the reception area, guests can use a coffee machine and a refrigerator.Guest review byOnaLithuania
- From US$94.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,519 reviewsBreakfast was adequately good for a 4 star hotel. The restaurant exceeded my expectations both in quality of food and service. The room itself was very good in all aspects, though location on the second floor without elevator caused inconvenience due to problems with legs.Guest review bySergejsLatvia

Especially I would like to point out spotless cleanliness of the room. Off season (January), there was just handful of guests and the hotel was absolutely calm (the only source of noise were our two kids).Guest review byPavelCzech Republic

Rakvere is where my mother went to high school.
Rakvere is where my mother went to high school. Later the rest of her family (mother and sister) moved there to live. I consider it my home town away from my home town. Not only does it have great permanent attractions, like the 800-year-old castle with actors recreating life 500 years ago, but it has great occasional events. Like a punk rock festival every year. One time I was there, I unexpectedly came upon a street organ festival and spent the rest of the afternoon/evening with them. It has great places to eat with a variety of cuisines, from local to Caucasian and Asian (including sushi) and friendly, comfortable places to stay in between the eating, music and medieval life. It's small enough to get around on foot, but there are lots of buses too. You are sure to enjoy it!Guest review byTundernAustralia - 8.0

Beatiful and calm neighborhood with plenty possibilities to walk around in the nature. Eating possibilities are limited because the nearest neighbours are 6-7 km away. Still there is plenty activity possibilities in Vihula Manor itselt (museums, sports activities, trekking).Guest review byEeroEstonia - 10.0
Käsmu is , quite simply one of the most unspoiled, serene...
Käsmu is , quite simply one of the most unspoiled, serene and beautiful villages in the whole world. The views out across the bay are balm to the soul and walks in the primeval forests (nature's cathedral) and the peninsula are wonderful. The little church is charming with an organ, if you can manage to catch a service or concert, that is a musical marvel. Parts of this venerable instrument are over 300 years old! The informative and elegant Sea Museum, once a school for sailors, will tell you the history of the fine ships built here and the brave souls of the "Captain's Village" who sailed the seven seas in the 19th century. The village is still quite remote and careful planning is needed to get there by public transport. Direct buses go from Tallinn or there are buses from the local hub at Rakvere but these are few and far between. But Käsmu is well worth the effort and there are several excellent guest houses to stay in when you arrive ...Guest review byHilaryEstonia - 8.0
A pleasant little town in the north of the country.
A pleasant little town in the north of the country. It was a pleasure to walk through the restored streets of the old town. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Would have been nice to have extended opening hours for the museums and extended time to visit the castle, but our visit coincided with the Easter holiday and this may have been the reason for the reduced opening hours.Guest review byKonstantins KLatvia - 10.0
It is a beautiful peaceful town in Estonia.
It is a beautiful peaceful town in Estonia. A castle for sightseeing. A peacefull parc for recreation. There is also a spa with a 25m swimming pool. In the center village you find old restored buildings which are worth seeing. For shopping there is near the city a shopping mall.Guest review byAndreaSwitzerland
