The staff were amazing - Taha the Assistant manager was super pleasant and helpful! Our cleaner Ahmed worked so hard keeping our room spotless. The Entertainment team - wow Elena, Francisco, Remy and Tiger. What a great crewe and so lovely. Mahmoud the sandwich maker at breakfast was a gem, such a lovely guy and amazing toasted sandwiches. Yanya was a great waiter, always had a smile on his face. Thank you! The buildings are beautiful and stylish. The snorkeling in the bay is stunning.

I couldn’t think you enough for everything you did .The people are so professional and nice .Doing their best to make each guest happy.They are really taking care of every single detail .They even upgrade my room to another one pool and sea view …just when they know it is my first time to visit them and I am alone in my trip. Also,they have prepared a very nice table decorated with flowers when I was taking my dinner at beach restaurant without even asking for it .it was a vey nice gesture from them ❤️♥️❤️

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The owner was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I stayed there with a small kid, so we mostly used kids pool, and the one in Aqua park. Both of them have slides inside. We loved it. Aqua park also has a lot of big slides for older children and adults. We didn't experience any animation program so I can't comment on that. But we did spend some time on the beach and it's very nice...lots of sand for the kid, nice entrance in the water...you can even see some fishes in the shallow water. The coral reef is couple of meters from the shore, so if there are no waves you can snorkel. we had couple of very calm days, but also windy ones (waves are very big so it's not possible to go in the water), but you can use the beach and pools. Our room was very nice, it had terrace from which we could access kids pools, so it was very convenient. Food in the restaurant was great for us, we could always find something for us. Cookies and cakes were great (not to sweet). Some food was available each day, but there was also some that was different each day (like soups). I loved it. And people that work there are really friendly! We didn't have any stomach problems. Kids club could use some improvements (lack of materials for play).

    Oasis", i had an idea and picture in my mind of the meaning of this word before our trip. After our trip, i can truly say i found a little gem of a diversparadise in Marsa Alam. From arriving in the airport to saying goodbye at the end of our trip, we were greeted with so much warmth, kindness and professionalism that will blow your mind totally in the positive way 😁 The hotel, a collection of little houses with seaview, and opendeck restaurant give you the feeling of being in a tiny community, actually divefamily. Food is buffetstyle in the morning and evening and even possible for lunch. We chose a la carte for lunch. Always tasty, never blend or boring and even spicy is an option 😉 We stayed 7 nights and were never offered the same dish twice. Divecenter I have dived all over the globe and can honestly say that this divecenter exceeds all expectations. Very personal and professional service: top notch briefings, enthousiastic and kind guides, helpfulness of all the divepersonel (in house and after dives), decent equipement and so on... A big thank you to all of you @ Oasis, i had an amazing holiday and hope to be back some day!

    We had a great stay at Gemma from the moment we arrived, where we got welcomed with an upgrate till we left, where Adel even gave us some lunch packages for our trip back home. (Thank you so much Adel). We also found a fruit basked and fresh flowers in our room. The hotel is not too huge and this is perfect. It has a very nice style and everthing is SUPER clean. Mohamed who cleaned our room was so nice and surprised us every day with something special in our room. We really felt relaxed from the very first moment we arrived. All the staff were SUPER friendly. Sayed who made the best coffee on the Beach Bar, Ashraf who was so kind during our lunch snack. Unfortunately we can not mention all names here. We appreciated the nice sunbeds with the soft topper. (Was on of the reasons why we booked the hotel, when I saw the pictures.) My husband did his advanced diving course in the diving center right in the hotel. This was very convenient. It was also possible to borrow neoprens and other equipment. We can definately recommend this hotel!!!

    thank you to the entire hotel team for a wonderful stay. special thanks to the reception, where Kiro, Hani and Shazly are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, I especially appreciated the large selection for vegetarians. The restaurant also has very friendly staff. Amer was very nice to my niece and she liked him very much. Overall, the hotel has a magical atmosphere and, most importantly, everything is beautifully clean!

    The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

    Some places offer excellent takeaway food. There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish! Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great.     Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.

    Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

    The sea was beautiful.

    The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

    Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."

    I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.

    amazing hotel, we booked it one year before and this year...

    amazing hotel, we booked it one year before and this year decided to choose the same one because we like it. it is quite, woth pleasant stuff, everything was perfect. good parking woth a socket to charge, quick check-in, tasty food, additional Italien restaurant. cool beach with rifs and sand to swim at any weather. for sure we will book this hotel for the next trip amd recommend to book it if you planing to spend good time
