This hotel is perfect, they have thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and as comfortable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the meals are excellent value for money, the icing on the cake being the massage chair in the room.     This hotel is beautifully renovated - esthetic pleasure to stay there! Huge balcony to enjoy the mountain view. Room was very warm! We stayed there Thurs-Sat (beginnng of Feb), it's very quiet during the week, mostly guests come on Friday to ski the next day. 15 mins drive till Alto Montero, 10 mins drive till Reinoza with all the restaurants. Breakfast is 8 eur/pers and it's amazing - eggs, bacon, toasts, great coffee and many sweet options. We were in the lobby till midnight and the bar was still working. Hotel parking is for 12+ cars (some parts are covered with snow, may be bigger in summer). Very friendly hosts. We'll be back :)

    Recently renovated and super clean. Kitchen area with plates, cutlery, microwave and even an air fryer! The fridge is conveniently organised with a tray for every room. The staff was so nice to even Whatsapp me to make sure that I knew how to access the room.

    well situated for exploring the town and friendly staff with continental breakfast included and less than an hour from Santander. Also you pass Easy Gas (cheap fuel) on your left on the route following the ferry signs.

    this area is good to access the ski Alto Campoo and explore near by parks, and towns. We bought food in local supermarkets and ate at the apartment, the closest town is Reinosa (8/10min drive) , and has pharmacies, Lidl; Mercadona and it's easy to drive around with good roads and signs (we travelled in early April - no snow so it was very safe) we enjoyed the scenery and the horses everywhere and also the Ebro river.

    Hotel Vejo is conveniently located to the A67 and is ideal for a short or overnight stop. Reinosa is a typical industrial town which is a fairly short walk for the fit but would be problematic for those with mobility issues. Nothing much near bye except for some small cafes , garage, hospital and a mercadona supermarket. Reinosa town centre is well worth visiting subject to these limitations. A car or taxi would be an alternative! It should be said that it is an ideal base to visit Alto Campoo and it’s beautiful valley and villages. All in all it offers a great deal!

    Location for overnight stop for Santandar ferry the following day was good (45 mins drive to port). Location from motorway easy to find. Cafe food and drink was good. I should have asked for a non smoking room as room smelt of smoke but will remember to ask for in Spain next time. Clean room although it needed a little attention but for the cost of the room it was good value.
