FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$70.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 127 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 4,443 reviewsThe hotel is in a very good location. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic, as well was the staff working there. We want to give special thanks to Palermo, Susana, Germán, Lenaz and Isa Vazquez . They were very gentle and sympathetic, always with a big smile. The swimming pool and the garden are amazing. The access to the beach is very useful. In general was all very very good. All the staff was very nice and helpful...reception, housekeeping, bar, restaurant, spa. Thank you all and see you soon.Guest review byMiriamSpain

The place was very big, clean, there were many stuff to do. Nice view from the balcony on the pool area. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Every evening they organise a new show, for example flamenco, which we could watch from the cute outside bar. Good price for value, very highly recommended!Guest review byKlaraSlovenia

A perfect city break.
A perfect city break. Seville has all you need, beautiful and interesting buildings, many restaurants and bars to choose from. Walking is easy, no hills. Many cultural things to do, the Flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria was the highlight of my trip. There are some beautiful parks and gardens, and there is also the river. Dining outside (tapas and Serrano ham, delicious) and listening to the bells from the bell tower, a treat. Take refuse from the heat at the Hotel Alfonso XIII, the internal courtyard with its fountain and shade is a great spot for lunch and a refreshing beer. I did not manage to see the Alcazar Palace so hope to visit again one day. Late September is the perfect time to enjoy Seville.Guest review byCamdenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Vibrant, beautiful and friendly.
Vibrant, beautiful and friendly. From late night, balmy walks to some of the best vegetarian food we’ve had. So much to do that we couldn’t fit it all in :) Only a short jump on a train from Malaga airport; most of our exploring of the city was done on foot. A revisit is definitely in planning. Thank you, Malaga!Guest review byWillUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Granada is a city whose center is the University of Granada, you can study in faculties, research institutes, especially the library is very beautiful and comfortable for research, ... food is very cheap if you cook for yourself, and if you have a student card or a lecturer card, you will be able to eat 4 dishes + wine for 5 EUR (if you eat out it will cost about 20 EUR); In addition, you should visit castles, churches, ... in general very beautiful; especially the weather and air are fresh, very suitable for people walking, playing sports; or if you want to invest in business, real estate prices in Granada are also very cheap, you can buy land in the city for about 300-1000 EUR/m2 or forest land for 1 EUR/m2, ...Guest review byDo Huu HaiVietnam - 10.0

The mosque/ Cathedral is incredible. It was the highlight of my trip to Spain. However, I wish I knew that everything was closed on Monday, all public tourist places, no Alcazar, no flamenco, no baths. Beware!Guest review byIreneUnited States - 10.0
Great coastline full of lovely beaches.
Great coastline full of lovely beaches. Sandy, safe, clean water and suitable for sunbathing or for families. Lots to do in Marbella itself but absolutely miles upon miles of coastline to work with, with lots of beach bars and little villages along the way.Guest review byjoUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The hotel was excellent.
The hotel was excellent. Torremolinos was awful; not my sort of place at all. Very loud, over commercialised and extremely busy (and this was late September). We were only there for the hotel and the free airport shuttle which wasn't available after all.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bring your map app .. SO easy to get lost but in a fun way! These very old streets are narrow, few cars allowed in - stores and restaurants spill out into the walkways. Enjoy ambling through the various parks and neighbourhoods, and taking in, not only the beaches, but the churches!Guest review byGarbesMomCanada - 10.0

Benalmadena is a place you keep coming back to. Lots of things to do, beautiful Marina and boat trips. People are friendly, lots of choice of restaurants from Spanish to Italian to Argentinian. The iconic bridge is very impressive and there are some lovely streets and buildings to admire in the old town. But for the most part, the rest of Ronda is pretty ugly and dirty and spoiled by over tourism. But on the flip side there is plenty of accommodation in and around Ronda so it's a good base for exploring the nicer villages (such as Grazalema which is truly authentic and not at all spoiled by over tourism) nearby.Guest review byChrisFrance
