FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$70.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 127 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic

Seville is a city of historical interest spanning centuries...
Seville is a city of historical interest spanning centuries and it is documented well all over the city. There are so many attractions, I have visited over 20 times and still find something new every visit. Many different areas within the 'locality' of Seville offer something for everyone, covering history, art, architecture, religion, traditions, cuisine, entertainment, late nights and long days. The area is mainly flat, making getting around easier. There are many modes of transport from guided tours, taxis, tourist buses, boat rides, scooters, bikes, segways, carriages, electric tuktuks. There are several wonderful park areas, Marie Luisa and San Sebatsion being two of them. They include a host of historical references, water features, wildlife, flea markets and many events being hosted. Many for free. Some of the cafes are quite far apart in the parks, so I advise to carry water with you. The food is exceptional, with a restaurant, bar, tapas bar, smaller food stalls that cater for international tastes and showcasing traditional Andalusian cuisine to the highest standards. Nightlife of all tastes is catered for throughout the neighbourhoods of Seville. Do your research as you may miss out! Flamenco is a way of life and not a tourist show. Not all shows are equal, and many performances can be found for free at various locations. Especially at the Plaza De Espania. Be mindful Seville is a hot location, even in traditionally cooler months. It can get busy so I advise to book the events you want to attend, such as the Cathedral and Alcazar. Cannot recommend highly enough to everyone. You will not be disappointed,Guest review bySelmaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

First time trip to Malaga - vibrant city with so much to see. Stayed two nights and managed to visit the market, port and beach on first day and Alcazaba and Gibralfaro castle on day two . Very walkable city and great local buses and local trains. Also well served by the two city stations. A great gateway to explore Andalucía by train - we have moved on to Ronda, Cordoba and Seville over a ten day total trip. Will definitely return for more.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Granada is a fine and lively town, but what You need to have seen is the Alhambra and Generalife! Book a guided tour, otherwise You will not be able to take it in and take enough time. We where there with a boy of 7yo and even he enjoyed it. After the Alhambra, go and see the cathedral of Granada, it gives a good historical contrast.Guest review byKarlIreland - 10.0

A hidden gem of a city, you must go yourself and discover it. If you like wandering around and just getting lost it’s the place for you. A surprise around every corner, wonderful architectural and historical buildings. It had a wonderful vibe about it, great tapas bars and restaurants, we did a little research on YouTube and found some amazing places, full of wonderful Spanish people out to enjoy the day/night, embrace their culture and you will be embraced in return. They Mezquita is outstanding.Guest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The iconic bridge is very impressive and there are some lovely streets and buildings to admire in the old town. But for the most part, the rest of Ronda is pretty ugly and dirty and spoiled by over tourism. But on the flip side there is plenty of accommodation in and around Ronda so it's a good base for exploring the nicer villages (such as Grazalema which is truly authentic and not at all spoiled by over tourism) nearby.Guest review byChrisFrance - 8.0

It was a but rough in the bars just outside where we stayed but overall it was a nice place with pretty squares & nice shops. Lots of restaurants with a wide selection of outside eateries. Many golfers so lots of places had tvs showing sports. It was atmospheric & friendly.
