FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$71.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 124 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic
- From US$106.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 4,494 reviewsThe hotel is in a very good location. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic, as well was the staff working there. We want to give special thanks to Palermo, Susana, Germán, Lenaz and Isa Vazquez . They were very gentle and sympathetic, always with a big smile. The swimming pool and the garden are amazing. The access to the beach is very useful. In general was all very very good. All the staff was very nice and helpful...reception, housekeeping, bar, restaurant, spa. Thank you all and see you soon.Guest review byMiriamSpain
- From US$87.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 6,650 reviewsPerfect location for us with good view to Cadiz over the sea and the sandy shore. Close to ocean (in fact the first building from sea). Very clean, convenient with a great variety of services you cannot even imagine. As in pre season it was very good to make excursions in the area towards Gibraltar and over the hills meanwhile at the end of day you could rest on the shore or by the pool. Very nice pool area. Breakfast and dinner exceeded all our expectations. Delicious and a very wide range of varieties. Parking easy and perfect.Guest review byLászlóHungary
- From US$150.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,976 reviewsWe liked the sound of the waves from the room, the view over the ocean, the quiet neighbours, the fact that there were few people on the beach midweek, and we liked the cleaning staff very much. We liked that we could have our own things in the minibar, and we liked the location--that we could walk into town. We liked very much that it was primarily a Spanish area.Guest review byOddvarNorway

It was a beautiful city, had lovely restaurants and bars which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, Seville is like a maze and not very easy to get around. We found ourselves lost on numerous occasions but eventually made our way back to our apartment. It should be essential to provide a map on arrival at your accommodation.Guest review byLESLEYAustralia - 10.0
Malaga is a great place to visit.
Malaga is a great place to visit. It is full of shops, bars and restaurants. There are some beautiful churches. There is a lovely tropical garden that has been really well thought out for the people of the city. You can visit the fortress and the castle on the hill. The new walkway, shops and restaurants near the sea are great to visit, along with the Sunday market. Most places are walkable apart from the botanical gardens which are about a 10 minute drive or bus ride from the centre but worth a visit. There is a bus stop just outside the gardens. There is also a long stretch of beach. It is also a good base for visiting other resorts. I would definitely go back again.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Highly recommend visiting this beautiful city with so much history. Definite places to visit are The Alhambra, Cathedral, book a Flamemco show in a cave and visit the Sacromonte and Albacin areas of the city. We did 2 nights, 3 days and could definitely have stayed for a third night. We either walked or booked Ubers to get around the city.Guest review bySaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We stayed for four days in early September, the weather was great, but the beaches were not too busy. We walked the length of the promenade and it was clean, friendly and a nice mix of bars, restaurants and shops. While it is a tourist place, there is still some traditional Spanish places to be found. We will definitely be going again, as there is so much to see and do.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Loved walking in the old town and visiting the central market in the day and for food at night. It felt safe at night. Cathedral was interesting. The small sqaures around the old town were excellent for sitting in and people watching. Nice beaches fairly close to the town and if you fancy a flat walk along the beach hou can go for hours. Ate at small tapas places.Guest review byMilan - 8.0
