The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the Gothic Quarter, close to restaurants and cafés. You can easily explore the neighborhood and return to the hotel without any hassle. The staff is amazing and available 24/7. The breakfast setup is great—it’s a freshly prepared order rather than a buffet. I really appreciate the hotel staff for their constant smiles, and a special shoutout to the young Italian woman who has never been to Rome—haha!

Beautiful boutique hotel in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Friendly staff, nightly wine & cheese gathering, in-house restaurant, delicious hot & cold buffet breakfast. Small but very comfortable room (light & airy). Enjoyed the Turkish spa with relaxing massage, the 24-hour expresso machine, and the availability of a clothes washer & dryer. Location, location, location! This hotel is perfectly situated, making it incredibly convenient to explore the entire city. The Jack and Jill sinks are a stunning feature, and the rooftop bar offers breathtaking views of the city skyline. While it would have been even more lively with a DJ on the weekends (just my personal preference), the atmosphere was still wonderful. Now, the staff—what can I say? Every single person, from the porters and reception team to the spa, housekeeping, bar, and restaurant staff, went above and beyond. They were all incredibly polite and helpful. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop bar and had the pleasure of interacting with Alessandro, who was fantastic and gave us great tips on places to visit. Connor (hope I got his name right—the Irish guy!) was super courteous, even bringing us blankets to stay warm. Grace was as gracious as her name suggests, the waitress from Georgia was so attentive and patient with my friend’s picky eating habits, and Johnny—what a character! His charisma is off the charts; I’d gladly pay to see his stand-up comedy routine! This was hands down my most memorable city break to date. I would recommend it 1000%!

Of the many hotels on the beautiful coast of Santa Susanna, we chose this one and it was luck! Everything corresponds to a high level and 4* service. The hotel is kept clean at all times. The room can be cleaned every day if you request. But we didn't request daily cleaning. The rooms have enough everything for a comfortable stay. The plumbing is in good condition. Very friendly service at the reception, for any question and at any time. Fun, dynamic animation during the day and live vocal concerts in the evening. Children's club and children's discos in the evenings. Billiard tables and other slot machines for entertainment for every taste. Convenient elevators. The pools are clean, there are several of them on site, including a jacuzzi on the upper terrace. The buffet food is tasty and varied, fast service. Although we only had breakfast, we were always full. Location in the center of the resort, proximity to the railway station, as well as convenient access to the beach. Lots of shops and entertainment nearby. I would also like to note the wonderful sports and SPA complex. We managed to visit there twice. It’s a delight, so many pools with different temperatures, a steam room and a sauna! Real relaxation. An excellent solution when the weather turned a little bad due to rain in early June. Highly recommend for families with children. We felt very comfortable with you, like at home. I really want to come back again. The service and conditions exceed expectations and are fully consistent with the price. We wish you prosperity, see you again!

We got a stay in fresh cheap buildings. The black ones. So, it was small but funny. It is something bigger then a mobile home. Good bathroom and toilet rooms. Nature around was great. Everything was in a great condition. Supermarket is not that expensive and have a good choices. The flights above weren't that noise for us. Thank you people, we saved a lot of money on our Barcelona stay.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, exceeding expectations above and beyond their duties. The view from the balcony of my room was outstanding, and breakfast was delicious. While the room was simple, it met all of my needs. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel staff's exceptional friendliness

The most important to me was the food since I am gluten sensitive, and the lady, named Rosa who works at the restaurant section knew everything about each food. She helped me a lot during my stay there with the food, they even cooked me gluten free pasta when I wanted to eat that.

We were using Barcelona primarily as a stop-over, so 3 days is nowhere near enough to explore the city. Would recommend at least 10 days for a proper exploration / holiday. But there again, it's an expensive city! It's quite easy to get around once you are used to the systems. Transport Tip: Use cards, not cash, for a short stay, or buy one of the inclusive travel cards if staying longer. Coins are not generally accepted. 'Phone App. (TMBApp) was useful together with Google Maps.

During my stay in Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, I enjoyed being just a few subway rides away from the lively city center while still escaping the constant crowds. With several subway stations nearby, it was easy to get around—within just 10 minutes I could reach iconic spots like the Sagrada Família or even head out toward San Sebastián Beach. The quieter atmosphere of the neighborhood provided a more relaxed experience, allowing me to enjoy the scenery at a slower pace. Local cuisine was another highlight—tapas, fresh seafood, and other authentic dishes made every meal memorable. The area was also conveniently close to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, making both arrival and departure stress-free and well connected.

Prat is a "normal" area with many regular Spanish residents. It is far enough away from the main attractions to recharge, though close enough to access the hot spots easily. Lots of transportation options available depending on your budget. We stayed 3 nights initially in the Barcelona Beach area and it was nice to relax a bit in Prat before we flew home. It felt safe and was clean.

We liked the area and the beaches. We were not expecting what we found also because a few years ago we went in the same area (Calella) and we were very happy with the hotel, the food and everything else. At that time we had all included breakfast, lunch, dinner with all soft and any alcoholic drinks included. Unfortunately this time that hotel was booked up for the time we wanted. But Calella is very nice and quite, I will recommend to anyone, but not the hotel we were in this time.

Santa Susanna is a lovely resort, with lots of places to eat, drink and take in entertainment in the various hotels. There are plenty of shops and little stalls along the Boulevard. The beach was clean but the sand slopes sharply into the sea. Good transport links to Barcelona and neighbouring towns. My partner was using a mobility scooter and getting around Santa Susanna was fine as it’s very flat and although we could and did use buses and trains we found this very stressful. Definitely a resort for chilling not raving!

The general problem with the Costa Brava north of Barcelona...

The general problem with the Costa Brava north of Barcelona is the coarse sand. You really need beach shoes otherwise it's uncomfortable to walk around the beach or going in the water with all the stones. Coming out the water is a nightmare without shoes. Also, the shore gets very steep very fast. 3 meters into the water, and you are completely submerged in most places. Completely different from the France side, with the dusty extra-fine sand and family friendly shores around Camargue. Costa Brava is wilder and more for swimmers. Cote d'Azur for safe children bathing. Blanes has a very nice panorama from the Castell de Sant Joan hill. Lots of things to see around also. Arts and history.

What a beautiful place to stay. Dario was a fantastic host, and nothing was too much trouble. I could have slept in the bed for weeks it was so comfy! Thanks for everything Dario - especially for the travel coffee you made for our trip back to the airport :)
