All staff were very professional, helpful & friendly, beautiful hotel, the location was perfect for us, it is in walking distance to the attractions/ La Caletta beach, train station & many good quality restaurants. I mentioned it was my birthday.Balloons and two sweeties in my room.Then early evening a bottle of Cava in an ice bucket was delivered to my room by a delightful waitress who told me this was with the complements of the hotel for my birthday!All completely unexpected and it made my 74 th birthday one to remember! A most enjoyable night at the hotel where we had dinner bed and breakfast.The young staff were all friendly hard working and professional.

It’s situated in different levels, so interesting to walk around, and the view to the ocean is stunning. Very green territory. The visitors were mostly German and Spanish, no russians. So everybody was very polite and calm. Food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely tasty. Staff members were amazing - friendly and helpful. Everythting (room, territory) was really tidy. Large, beautifully decorated rooms. No noisy concerts and entertainment in the evenings - great! We could peacefully enjoy the sounds of birds and the ocean.

    We were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.

    My daughter and I loved the hotel, excellent breakfast and lunches. The indoor pool was super nice and Veronika loved the kids club and I enjoyed the exercise program every day at 10 am. These programs were a lovely bonus to already pleasant stay. We loved the maintained garden around with everything blooming in February. Felt very welcomed and comfortable here. We plan to return again hopefully in next few years.

    We liked the sound of the waves from the room, the view over the ocean, the quiet neighbours, the fact that there were few people on the beach midweek, and we liked the cleaning staff very much. We liked that we could have our own things in the minibar, and we liked the location--that we could walk into town. We liked very much that it was primarily a Spanish area.

    We had a blast, our stay was super relaxing, location is perfect, the crew helpful, the pool is everything you need during hot days, not to mention very diverse breakfasts. What made our stay extra unique was an unexpected upgrade to a much bigger apartment with a terrace and direct ocean view. We plan to go back soon :)

    We love the location - being able to roll out of bed straight onto the beach is amazing. It's a small place too, so it never gets too busy or too noisy, it's perfect to just relax and disconnect.     Loved walking in the old town and visiting the central market in the day and for food at night. It felt safe at night. Cathedral was interesting. The small sqaures around the old town were excellent for sitting in and people watching. Nice beaches fairly close to the town and if you fancy a flat walk along the beach hou can go for hours. Ate at small tapas places.

    Great location and views.

    Great location and views. The property is a series of apartments made to look like villas, either an upstairs with a roof terrace or a downstairs with a garden, not whole villas. The property could do with new outside furniture including a parasol for the terrace. The pool is lovely, but no furniture, so you couldn't sit by it. This would be a difficult location if you didn't drive or are not physically fit.

    This is a traditional Andalusian walled town, with narrow (often carless) streets, and lots of excellent seafood restaurants and bars. Elegant, Moorish influenced architecture. We were fortunate to witness a local week-long fiesta, with processions, females of all ages in flamenco dresses, and horses being ridden in the streets by riders in traditional dress. There are beach bars and water sports on the Atlantic side, which is renowned for kite surfing, owing to the strong winds. On the Mediterranean side there is a busy (yet quiet) ferry port, where it is possible to visit Morocco within an hour. This is a good vantage point for bird watching across the Strait and also for taking whale/dolphin watching boat trips. There are no high rise hotels and, although there are plenty of tourists, Tarifa has retained its elegance and traditional small town charm.

    The information provided by Juan and Amelia before the trip was incredibly helpful, especially as we had never been there before. Suggestions for bars and restaurants was very helpful. The apartments were terrific. Clever decor and design, a range of eclectic art work (Including Juan's home made central ceiling light) which blended the history of the building with all the modern aspects of daily living. A really comfy bed which gave a great night's sleep. Also a welcoming bottle of cava and a homemade cake (I had five slices in one sitting) which was excellent. Very lovely genuine owners who care for their guests experience. Will definitely be going back.

    It was a tired and old town with many dilapidated buildings many of the bars and cafes did not open untill lunchtime making it difficult to get a coffee. The ferry to Cadiz was very cheap and Cadiz was well worth the visit

    It is a great place for a relaxing vacation!

    It is a great place for a relaxing vacation! A nice beach (8km coast) where you can swim, relax or have a nice walk! There is also a street workout area next to the beach if you feel like working on your pullups and muscle ups! I also visited a park where I could watch flamingoes and other birds. I will go back to Chiclana one day! It was wonderful!

    Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and restaurants serving top quality food at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. Very Spanish (obviously) and everyone super friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do around and not far from Cádiz. You do need a car which you can park for free at the bottom of the town and then walk up - it is incredible hilly and steep so proper shoes recommended! Beautiful main plaza with fountain and tapas places and restaurants. Highly recommend.

It is unashamedly Spanish and doesn't try to compete with the brasher resorts of the Costa Del Sol. I am reluctant to recommend it to others but that is only because I want to keep it for myself.

    Algeciras has some beautiful parts, in the old city the Moorish architecture is really quite something. There are some rougher parts sure, as with any large port town. But I found it safe, the people friendly and the food was great, especially El Taller restaurant. Nearby beach Playa el Rinconcillo was fine. But Algeciras isn't like some beautiful Mediterranean coasted resort destination, it's a fairly gritty Spanish port with some beautiful architecture and passable beaches, cheap and cheerful with easy access to TARIFA where you can get a ferry to Tangiers and visit nearby roman ruins or visit very nearby Gibraltar.

    The old town is beautifull with plenty of local people and spaniards from diffrent reagions of Spain. Not too many tourist is good news. There are delicious and trendy restaurants and tapas bars. Medina Sidonia palace is marvelous and the Church of Notre Dane of Ó, a pearl of architecture from spain, has a sweet lady guide (and very well informed).
