We had an amazing stay at Hotel Faro. The hotel seemed to anticipate our needs every step of the way and we felt like we were treating ourselves to a luxe vacation. Welcome drinks at the front desk, a beautifully designed hotel and room, breakfast with lots of unique offerings, snacks and water in the room, and lots of little unexpected surprises. The location was just perfect, beautiful beach, we strolled the dunes, and being at an adults-only hotel was quiet and peaceful. Overall, it was such a relaxing and refreshing stay and we loved every moment. Definitely recommend this hotel!

    Perfect location if you want to relax on a beautiful beach. Playa Amadores is right in front of the place, cca 100 meters walk only. The Club is a Hotel is consisting of separate apartments, which are really well equipped in an almost luxurious style. Super big double bed, spacious terrace with a great view to the ocean equipped with sunbeds, parasol, rattan garden furniture, modern fully equipped kitchen. There is a really good restaurant on site called Aqui if I’m not mistaken. It offers quality food at a reasonable price. The staff is nice, they were really helpful. Water in 5 liter bottles is available at the reception for a minimal amount as the tap water’s taste is not the best on the island. (drinkable but desalination affects it’s taste)

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island. It has that wonderfully built Lago Martináez, where you could swim, whatever high waves were on the ocean. The seaside promenade is beautiful, full of stores and restaurants. It is easy to get around. Also very good place for shopping is the Martiánez Shopping Centre, which is very close to the hotel and has good quality clothes and food in Mercadona.

    The area is perfect for all ages It is desired by adults for the wonderful view it offers. The long walks with the different terraces that invite you are a dream. The important thing is that the beach is public everywhere and is not private. Accommodations have very good prices. 4-star hotels are around 120 euros per night. For young people there is nightlife with parties on the seashore. Food is for all tastes. - there are higher prices for quality food as well as lower prices. The menu of the day costs 13 euros.

    Very nice town for family holiday, you can find all you want, hotels, beaches, restaurants, markets, palms, there are interesting places close to town, like Palmitos Park, harbour in Puerto Rico, Poema del Mar in Las Palmas. Only one problem is to find parking place near sea and avoid car towage by local police :-)

    Santa Cruz de Tenerife doesn’t have much of nightlife, almost everything was closed at 21:30-22:00 and there were no people outside either we were on the center of the town or near the plaza. BUT, The island in general is worth it. If you can get outside and go see other towns - villages, it is definitely worth it and be prepared for breathtaking sights, views and amazing monuments. There are a lot sightseeings worth visiting, but Santa Cruz de Tenerife on its own is just not worth it that much (and the parking there is literally impossible)

    Absolutely love Playa Blanca, very relaxed, everyone is so friendly and lots of lovely restaurants to enjoy. Lovely walks too. Great place for people watching and simply enjoying the slower pace of life.
