Everything seems brand-new and newly decorated with a very upper market feel The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful I booked the spa for an hour, which was really nice although at 32€ bit expensive for a solo person I really enjoyed the breakfast which was copious, varied and good quality. I was also very happy that the people at the hotel had a place for me to park my bicycle overnight

Wow where do I start??? MyPalace León is in the heart of the old historic town, less than a 10 minute walk from the cathedral and 20 minute walk from León Railway Station. A newly built hotel which blends in unobtrusively into the landscape MyPalace hits you with that instant luxurious finish as soon as you walk in with a beautifully laid out reception, living flame heating and bar area. With a warm friendly welcome we knew this was going to be an exceptional stay before we entered our room. Our room on the fourth floor was exquisite in every detail from the eco-friendly touch screen lighting and hearing, to the sense of space and comfort the bedroom radiated. The bathroom with his and hers sinks plus spacious rainfall shower was elegant in design. Well rested in peaceful surroundings on to breakfast which was indeed a feast. Fresh fruit, cooked breakfast cold meats, cheeses and pastries as well as cereal and assortment of milks and juices - so much choice that we felt really spoiled. Thank you all for making our stay a very special one - León will hold some wonderful memories for sure🇪🇸❤️

A well converted, maintained and managed hotel at a heritage building. Particularly nice is the breakfast- you order items from the menu which composes of wide range of breakast dishes, and the dish is brought to your table hot. The staff is very polite and helpful.

We had a great stay at La Huella. The staff were super friendly and greeted us with a cold beer when we arrived. Fantastic garden area or front patio to enjoy the afternoon and evening as well as a lovely dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well. Right on the Camino and very sociable, and only two minutes walk to the main Plaza full of restaurants.Would highly recommend as your stop along the Camino or local stay.

The castle is so beautiful and a magnificent experience. Everywhere you look you see something interesting - but even though you feel like you entered a museum - everything is welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are big and so are the beds. Our dogs were welcomed with their own beds, bowls and treats. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for walking the dogs.

Charming hotel with a unique environment and privacy. It’s located within a restored abbey from the XII century with only 30 rooms and a lot of privacy. Personnel is looking after you from minute 1 and are extremely polite. Finally, we have been doing wine tasting around the world for years and this has been the best experience by far. Leon is a tad touristy but still retains some of Europes most beautiful Archtecture not least of which is the Cathedral of course - built with a population supposedly around 5000 leaves one in awe at what was built … and where the money came from . The modern side will entertain the shopaholics ( you know who you are !) but the cultural bit can be done in a few days with ease . Restaurants cater for all .

We loved the cathedral.

We loved the cathedral. It is one of the most beautiful in Europe. You visit it with an app that you get to keep on your phone. A lasting memory. Everything in the old part of town was easily accessible. You don't need a car to get around. We had a great meal at Casa Pancho & at Los Blasones. The food was delicious. Loved the market place, the monastery (Cartuja de Miraflores), all the statues, especially El Cid. People were friendly. Just a nice place to be.

The hotel is very nice, it is clean and well located. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue was that the air conditioner didn't work properly or was not set up at a cooler temperature. The room was hotter than the outside temperature. If you opened the window to let air go in, then the street noise can be a problem.

I wanted to visit Soria because of the nearby archeological site of Numancia. I had read El Cerco de Numancia by Cervantes as a student and remembered the site. The Museo Numantino in Soria has fascinating artifacts from the archeological site and other locations in the area. Wonderful Roman glass, pottery, jewelry and sculptures. In addition, Soria is a lovely medieval small city well-worth a visit away from more crowded tourist locations such as Barcelona and San Sebastian...

The Gaudi palace was amazing and well worth the visit for that alone. Really enjoyed the 3D immersive experience too which they also had in the Cathedral. Had time to visit the Roman Museum but not the chocolate factory as only had the one night. Ate in the main plaza and as it was a Monday not everything was open but Tuesday morning there was more choice for breakfast. Main sights are all within walking distance
