The apartment was clean and spacious in a quiet area with a lovely open view of the valley below from the balcony. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away, perfect for our needs as a family with an 8 year old and beds in the shade were always available. You definitely need a car. Beaches are only a short 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Our favourite restaurant was La Barra Tapas Bar in nearby Atamaria, high quality and very reasonable.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Beautiful town with lots of history, plenty to see and visit. Good restaurants and great shops. It felt very safe as a City and there were no beggars and fewer people trying to sell things as often found in big towns and cities. We stayed for 2 nights when there was the 12 day celebration of Carthaginians and Romans. Lots of costumes, marching and drums, fireworks and it was spectacular. Our waiter at one restaurant proudly explained the history to us. We will visit again.Guest review byDebraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We enjoyed quite a few restaurants at Mar Menor and Los Alcazares. There is a huge variety on most menu's, we found portions quite large It's easy to explore Los Alcazares and would highly recommend Murcia Trike tour, a visit to Old Town, Zarcos Cocktail Bar, Sunrise and sunsets on the beach. You can hire daybeds on the beach for the day with umbrellas Lot's of bars and restaurants along the foreshore to choose from.Guest review byMareeAustralia - 10.0

An excellent holiday location with fast food, Spanish authentic tapas bars.and more expensive restaurants to suit all needs. There are several good quality beaches on both sides of the fishing harbour and all amenities within a small area.Guest review byAlexander ThomsonSpain - 10.0
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing.
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing. So much so that the wife and I are considering investing. Mainly because it is the most inclusive resort I have ever imagined. There are lifeguards with wheelchairs, ramps, crutches, and enthusiasm; to help every one into the sea. Drop kerbs all over. And an openness and acceptance that would make this the ideal place for SEN kids, or adults with disabilities There are plenty of affordable street cafes for tapas and a fry-up, or a curry. There are a good number of good restaurants. And a fair few excellent ones.Guest review byKevinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Since it was low-season, we could benefit of the overall tranquility, no crowds etc. Still, the town is inhabited, also by year-round foreigners, thus there are quite a few restaurants open to choose from.Guest review byRainoFinland - 10.0
This was, without doubt, the best place I have ever stayed.
This was, without doubt, the best place I have ever stayed. I never understood why people would return to the same holiday spot year after year but now I completely get it. After spending 9 days here, I could easily come back a million times. The location is unbeatable, less than a minute’s walk to the beach, with restaurants, shops, and everything you need within easy walking distance. No car required, which I loved. The area is peaceful, with very few tourists, and there’s an amazing rooftop pool that’s spotless and easy to use thanks to clear, simple rules. The apartment itself was immaculate. So clean and spacious, with everything you could possibly need. The host’s sister met us with the keys and was incredibly warm and welcoming. When we misplaced a key (entirely our fault), the host could not have been kinder or more understanding. She reassured us immediately, responded quickly, and even arranged for her sister and father to drive a long distance late at night to sort everything out. They were all so friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like nothing was too much trouble and this was so appreciated as many people would have had a very negative reaction and been quiet horrible but they all remained too friendly! Communication was excellent from start to finish, including a smooth and punctual checkout. Everything here was absolute perfection - there’s honestly nothing I would change. Part of me wants to tell everyone about this hidden gem, but another part wants to keep it my little secret because I know I’ll be coming back again and again. Thank you for the most amazing stayGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

No kitchen appliances, did not know you had to order in advance. Woman in reception extremely rude. No water consumed by poolside ij a heatwave, the owner threatened to call the police for drinking water. The lifeguard spent more time making sure we were not drinking water, rather than check for peoples safety. Asked 'Where are you from'? Pure US AND THEM. The site was like a shanty town and our view was of an industrial park and yes lots of noise. Our tent smelled like cat pee and there was bugs all over the tent, When we received our fridge, hob and microwave we had no pans to cook with.Guest review byMichelleSpain
