I was a through hiker travelling on foot walking the GR11 with heavy backpack. Breakfast was great! Coffee and a variety of meats and hams followed by toasted crusty bread and enough clotted cream and jam to kickstart my day's hike. Normally it would be too many calories - but in the circumstamces ideal walking fuel. And so tasty, like an English Cream Tea but first thing in the morning. The owners are a lovely couple, who called me over for a drink when they saw me in a local bar. I had clothes to wash, and they allowed me use of the boiler room with hanging rail and hot air to dry my things before setting off. Hotel and owners very much reccomended - thank you

This is a wonderful hotel in a superb setting. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were delightful, the grounds are immaculate and the decor is beautiful - a 'Rocky Mountain' style lodge hotel in sunny Spain with the picturesque Pyrenees in the background. The food was all delicious, both the evening meal prepared by an excellent chef, and the plentiful breakfast. I have to eat gluten free and was well provided for, not always the case.

Nice, small hotel. Friendly people (as soon as you go through check-in which is a bit long and problematic for owners). Good breakfast, very good dinner in the hotel restaurant. Nice location - quiet, nice plaza, small town.

The hotel is beautifully located on the edge of a Lake with views to the Mountains. The owners Marian and Miguel were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. We also enjoyed sitting in the lounge reading with the fire. Would definately go back.

    Small village with a mountainous feel.

    Small village with a mountainous feel. Easy to get around on foot. A river runs through it. Has some picturesque buildings and church. Ample free parking on the street, several bars and restaurants for the size of the village. Mainly frequented by visitors using it as a base for skiing, nature walks, cycling, etc. in the area.

    The weather in summer is nice, the view of mountains...

    The weather in summer is nice, the view of mountains stunning. after we went for hiking on top of the mountain using the cable car which was an incredible hiking trips (we saw lakes on top of mountains and wild cows and horses), after we went down. we have taken a bath in the cold river next to the cable car station, it was very refreshing after a long hiking activity.

    The hotel is ideally located and easy to find. Secure, covered parking was available for our motorcycles. The evening meal was delicious and reasonable priced. The room was very spacious with all usual amenities available. The booking process was very straightforward. All the staff were very helpful & welcoming.

    Magnificent place!

    Magnificent place! Lots of little bars and restaurants in the village with a few other places nearby…fantastic walking , incredible location and views…..a fantastic place to spend 2 or 3 nights if you are en route to the sunny spots of Spain!…. Large outdoor pool in the village as well. The journey there from Pau on the French side of the Pyrenees is breath taking…a must do…. Not for a faint hearted driver though!….several very narrow parts with rock over hanging the road one side and huge drops on the other!…soon pans out into wide easy driving though with lots of parking places and views that will not be forgotten!

    Sabiñanigo is very near Jaca, which has much more to offer.

    Sabiñanigo is very near Jaca, which has much more to offer. Jaca is bigger but not too big and is just as well palced for visiting the Pyrenees. Sabiñanigo does not have enough options for restaurants, bars etc

    No staff on arrival only contact was by mobile, key safe wrong code given, also said no code needed, phone went missing whilst out, no staff first thing in the morning to except payment or speak with regards my phone. The person on the phone was only interested in payment by cash, €60 euro charged on my card, €40 cash was requested, no receptionist to take payment, in all it's a youth hostel very basic beds and bathroom,hand towel not shower bath towel. Then with out any notice €60 taken though booking was €40 maximum.
