I arrived earlier than expected and asked if an early check-in was possible. Since the room was ready, I was able to check in and leave my luggage ahead of schedule, which was very convenient. I also appreciated that the breakfast area was available for use, including the microwave, plates, and cutlery. There was even a shared refrigerator, which was more useful than I had expected.

This is such a little gem of a hotel. Close enough to walk into Cadaques but the bay and surrounding area of the hotel are also charming. The hotel itself is exceptionally comfortable and clean I gather many of the staff have been there for many years which is always a good sign. Great tapas and breakfast choices. Thank you for a lovely stay

    Lovely town. very easy to get around, lots of shops . Restaurants a plenty and reasonably priced. Fabulous beach with calm waters, not too deep when you get in. Interesting historical sites. Friendly people.

    Beautiful, picturesque town. Very clean, great public services and fabulous blue flag beaches with crystal clear waters. Fabulous selection of restaurants and a variety of accommodations ranging from budget to 5star.

    Panoramic views from ancient town walls and steep hilltop locations that overlook the mountains in the distance. Beautiful cobblestoned streets and secret staircases help you wind your way to all of the sights including the Arab Baths, the dramatic Girona Cathedral and Sent Felieu. Plenty of lively cafes to take a coffee or enjoy an aperitif, and generous and welcoming locals. Across the river from old town and larger avenues and shops and local life. Walk up to Sant Daniel to see the views and just enjoy a vigorous workout climbing between sights and then descending again. Lovely town, full of life, cyclers, and university students. Great vibe. September visit, so less crowds than summer.

    Ideal if you like Beaches and Shopping .

    Ideal if you like Beaches and Shopping . Restaurant's mainly Tapas dining, Menus not always easy to understand if you don't speak the language . Busy resort , Ideal Centre to stay if wishing to explore the rest of the Costa Brava coastline. Amazing Water Park nearby for more active people.

    The most interesting thing in Figueres is Salvador Dali's...

    The most interesting thing in Figueres is Salvador Dali's Museum and also his birth house. The military fortification (Castillo de San Fernando) on top of the hill is walking distance from downtown and worth a visit. It is the biggest in Europe I believe. Figueres can also be a good base, if you have a car, to explore Cape Creus and the beautiful towns of Cadaques, Port de la Selva and Llança.

    A beautiful, little town.

    A beautiful, little town. The port is lovely and it's fun to walk around the little streets and discover hidden corners. The church is lovely with great views of the town and ocean. We took a boat trip around the coast, seeing all the little coves and stopping for a quick swim in one of them.

    The town is not very big or crowded, which suited us. However, it has enough stores and restaurants. It has a wide and uncrowded beach. A very big advantage for those traveling by car is the large number of free parking spaces. Parking lots are located from 100m to 300m from the beach. Neighboring towns fare worse in this respect. The advantage is access to the suburban railroad, which took us to Barcelona for a day's sightseeing. In the summer, two amusement parks were available in Blanes (one near the parking lot - large, the other closer to the port). We missed the e-bike rentals. We had to go to a neighboring town to rent them. We did not use the clubs, so we do not judge their quantity or quality. We could certainly return to Blanes someday when there is an opportunity.

    An extremely windy area.

    An extremely windy area. It is suggested to skydivers and wind surfers. No way to spend the all afternoon on the beach; too windy. Not interesting activities for young people and teenagers. A bit boring. Great choice of restaurants and bars
