- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 168 reviewsReally comfortable apartment in a beautiful small complex. Perfectly located, 5min from Charco del Conde beach and 5min from La Puntilla beach. Bars and shops within walking distance. 15min walk from Valle del Rey ferry terminal. The road to the main walking areas in Garajonay is very good, and there are buses connecting with the rest of the island stopping just a few metres away. The apartments were clean and well maintained. Decor may look a bit dated, but it is well cared for and all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved sitting on the terrace in the evenings enjoying a glass of La Gomera wine with local goat cheese while listening to the sea waves...Guest review byInmaculadaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,630 reviewsOne of the best hotel we have ever visited on Canary Islands. If you like quiet place, small hotels with ocean sound, swimming pool on the roof, quiet restaurants without thousands of tourists, this is the right place where to stay. To beach it is minute by walk, water is warm (if you compare to other canary beaches), personal is friendly, rooms clean, beds big enough. if we come back to La Gomera, we will defenetly stay hereGuest review byZuzanaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 83 reviewsBreakfast was amazing, too many options, high quality food, great service The pool, though smaller than I'd wish, was lovely, cooling after an hour of sunbathing, heating up through the day Waste bins were clearly labelled but I had no idea what to do with metal containers, there wasn't a bin for them - but the daily cleaning/housemaid service removed any from my room, so there was no problemGuest review byJoannaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 344 reviewsThere is no traffic between the sea front flats and the beach, only a promenade. The roof top terrace is a good place to lie down and look at the stars on clear evenings. Staff are nearly always on duty and dealt with issues in a professional and polite manner.Guest review byElfSweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 286 reviewsVery calm location with beautiful views around. The apartment is small but it's very good for this price as we spend there only the nights and the mornings. Apartments have access to the roof terrace with stunning view at the Ocean and Tenerife Island.Guest review byArsenieMoldova

Valle Gran Rey is very beautiful situated at the bottom of a very steep valley with spectacular scenery. You have to be able to cope with very windy mountain roads with sheer drops! It is dominated with German travellers and has multiple good restaurants at very friendly prices.Guest review byRosemary - 10.0
Great for walking around and getting good views.
Great for walking around and getting good views. A viewpoint near the parador is worth the uphill walk. Also good to explore the beach and viewpoint near the port. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants along side streets and near the main square. Great atmosphere during the Three Kings/Epiphany festival.Guest review byKathryn - 10.0

It’s a beautiful village nestled in the mountains. It’s close to the national park and if you like hiking then it’s ideal but I’d suggest having a car as the local bus timetable is very confusing and not very frequent.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is a quiet and appealing little town with a good choice of places to eat and drink. A good baker and three supermarkets to choose from. Buses (cheap) and the excellent Fred Olsen Express ferry service can be used to travel to San Sebastian, Valle Gran Rey, etc.Guest review bygreatwhiterabbitUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely little village out of the way!
Lovely little village out of the way! 25min drive down from the main road with spectacular views on the way down! Not a lot in the village but a small beach but if you want tranquility it's perfect! Lovely restaurant on the beach that serves the most amazing fish and seafood as very reasonable prices!Guest review bymorenaSpain - 8.0
Nice small village famous for pottery.
Nice small village famous for pottery. Green part of the island with the downside that it is often foggy or inside clouds. I liked the character of the village and had a great view from above. Depending on your destinations few places are near and for going to the east and south-east it’s up to 1 hour drive - but La Gomera is so beautiful that every road trip is already an adventure and a sightseeing trip. Next mini-market is just a few minutes by car.Guest review byMarkusAustria - 8.0
The scenery is outstandingly breath taking.
The scenery is outstandingly breath taking. The ride into the area and leaving is awesome. there are some nice places to eat and mini market shops . We chose a restaurant Esperanto by the Port , it is owned by a couple from Germany. The husband being the Chef. The food was excellent and highly recommend a visit.Guest review byGarySpain - 10.0

We went to watch the start of this years Atlantic Row as I had taken part in it 2 years ago and we were seeing the crew who bought our boat off on their challenge. As always San Sebastian was delightful and having been there a few times over the years we were able to visit all of our old haunts just before Christmas which was excellent.Guest review byGarreth MurrellUnited Kingdom - 2.0
