We had an amazing stay at Hotel Faro. The hotel seemed to anticipate our needs every step of the way and we felt like we were treating ourselves to a luxe vacation. Welcome drinks at the front desk, a beautifully designed hotel and room, breakfast with lots of unique offerings, snacks and water in the room, and lots of little unexpected surprises. The location was just perfect, beautiful beach, we strolled the dunes, and being at an adults-only hotel was quiet and peaceful. Overall, it was such a relaxing and refreshing stay and we loved every moment. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The pool is worth mentioning, it’s heated and it’s the perfect way to end a day. The room was perfect, we stayed in 13F that has 2 balconies, in the room we had everything we needed. There are 2 beaches close to the hotel also a lot of restaurants and supermarkets.

Situated on a quiet side street 2 blocks from the cathedral, this small hotel is nestled among other residences. It is close to the museum, and 5 minutes walk to the shopping pedestrian street - or 10 minutes walk to the theater bus stop (91 or 60) which can go to the airport or downtown center. A grocer is near the bus station, and many restaurants are in the pedestrian shopping street. It was very comfortable, and the entry information was provided by Booking.com text message prior to arrival. No issues with entry via keypad. Nice to have the coffee/tea-making with a light little snack present also. I would stay there again.

    Perfect location if you want to relax on a beautiful beach. Playa Amadores is right in front of the place, cca 100 meters walk only. The Club is a Hotel is consisting of separate apartments, which are really well equipped in an almost luxurious style. Super big double bed, spacious terrace with a great view to the ocean equipped with sunbeds, parasol, rattan garden furniture, modern fully equipped kitchen. There is a really good restaurant on site called Aqui if I’m not mistaken. It offers quality food at a reasonable price. The staff is nice, they were really helpful. Water in 5 liter bottles is available at the reception for a minimal amount as the tap water’s taste is not the best on the island. (drinkable but desalination affects it’s taste)

    The hotel is built in a very modern style, and we really enjoyed the pools. We had a room with outside bath, which gave us an enhanced feeling of privacy. Breakfast has a lot of tasty options to choose from and staff is very helpful, with a smile on their face at all times. The place is a short distance from the beach, but the hotel provides a regular bus there and back (we didn’t use it tho as we hired our own car). Overall, would greatly recommend!

    It was exceptional vacation! The territory if full plants, very clean and taking care of. All personnel is very respectful and positive.     Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a beautiful city. I loved exploring the city center and the urban beach of Las Canteras 🌊 – long, clean, and perfect for swimming. I also enjoyed visiting some museums, local restaurants, and meeting the friendly people. My sister fell in love with the city, which is why she bought an apartment here, and I had the pleasure of inheriting it. Overall, it’s a wonderful city to visit 😄. A note for travelers: some hosts on Booking may not always be completely reliable, so it’s worth being careful when booking accommodation.

    Easy access to bars /restaurants/beach. Walking distance to everything you need. Sand dunes were amazing & a must if you want some great pictures. Some great wee local bars so no need to go to the big commercial centres if that's not your thing.

    We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains. We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible. The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.

    I first visited Puerto Rico when I was 19 ....I am now 61 and have been a regular visitor throughout. In fact I lived there for 12 years and owned an apartment for 15 years. Possibly my opinion is biased, but having visited all the other Canarian islands, I would say that the area between Melanores and Mogan offers most things to most people, and as Puerto Rico is the centre of that area, its quite simply a great place to base your holiday - I for one will always return !

    A quiet location with enough bars and restaurants but not a huge choice. After a week we would be a little bored without a car. The beach was nice with lots of families, couples and older people. No shopping as such.

    This is a quiet, relaxing and friendly town.

    This is a quiet, relaxing and friendly town. There is a wide variety of restauants with friendly staff and also a very good array of shops. The town features dining on the beachfront and in the harbour area. There are lots of couples and young families. It is not rowdy or noisy. There is a fabulous viewing point above the town and a very well connected public bus system. It is an hour from the airport and costs just under 7 euro one way. The bus stops are clearly marked on arrival in Las Palmas airport and the small bus station is just five minutes walk from the beach in Peurto de Mogan.

    The view is amazing and literally enjoy the sound of tide in the balcony. If you want to have a break time to stay away from the hectic city. It would be a right place to relax. We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

    This was a great location for our holiday in January. Agaete is not a tourist area but has access to walks from the apartment. Driving into the mountains to see tourist attractions and find other walking routes did take sometime due to the winding mountain roads. Great selection of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance in the harbour area and a short drive to Sardina Nord for a lovely beach.
