I was travelling Valencia to Zaragoza and Hotel Restaurant el Horno was well placed en route. In the heart of the historic village and I enjoyed the lively bar/restaurant. I only had a room on my mind but the bar and restaurant were terrific and recommended, and the food of an excellent standard.

This hotel was right on our cycling route, and they were able to store our bikes in a safe location. Our room was large and very clean. Great shower and being on the second floor not much noise from the bar below. A coffee, fruit juice, and bread with ham and cheese for breakfast.

This guest house was lovely and homely. Very rustic which I love. The bedroom was beautiful and looking out over trees and the river. Very peaceful and quiet location we used as a base. It is around 30 minutes drive to Terueal which is a great town with shops, supermarkets and Mcdonalds. Theresa the host was friendly and helpful and such a warm person. She told us about a festival in Terueal and we had the best time there. We had not made an effort to mearn Spanish which was not helpful for us. Having knowledge of the language would be very helpful in this part of Spain. Breakfast was fresh juice, coffee, cake and toast with jams. Always served with a smile and a good start to the day. We used this accommodation as a base to travel around and it was perfect for this but not much to do when we returned. It is around 45 minutes drive to the Javalambre ski area. We had a lovely stay and the place is very good value for money.

This hotel is fabulous, it is situated in the middle of the old center of town in Teruel, making it the ideal place to start exploring this beautiful old city. The hotel was completely rebuilt from the ground up, maintaining the beautiful old front, and we understand it only opened its doors to the public earlier this year (2022) The hotel is good reachable by car, as it includes an underground parking. My spouse and I left the car there and never needed it during 2 ½ days stay as everything is good reachable on foot, strolling the old center, having some food or a glass of wine in one of the many restaurants and Tapas bars. As always, a hotel is as good as the people working in it, and we had a most pleasant stay from the reception onwards to having a lunch on the terrace outside the bar, having breakfast in a well-equipped breakfast room, or dinner in the dining room.
