What’s an amazing find - we were travelling in December so it was very quiet but it really is an amazing location. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway the gentleman on reception was very helpful and the food we had for supper the one night we stayed was a very good quality in particular the spa ladies were very helpful in fitting in last minute a massage after a long drive.

The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the extra effort that was made by the staff. Our bicycles were stored in a safe place. The breakfast was ok.

Staff were excellent friendly and patient as our Spanish is poor. The room was spotless and comfortable. Tapas, ears and pork belly, was very tasty and the bar had good atmosphere. We opted for car port parking for the motorcycle and had no problems.

    Delicious breakfast made of fresh produce. Beautiful views across the valley. Very spacious quiet and tranquil. Romantic dinners. Magical star gazing evening with a knowledgable astronomer who showed the rings and moons of Saturn. We enjoyed paddle boarding in a nearby lake and visiting a local swim spot (beseite) with two waterfalls. Will definitely be back soon!

    We loved everything about the property, the room was perfect, the peace and tranquility of the surroundings superb, and David was the perfect host, very attentive and always checking that we had everything we needed.     This is a very special hotel, set in the gardens of the old convent but in the middle of the town. The staff are very kind, friendly and accommodating.The pool is set in the gardens and very refreshing. The restaurant is excellent. The whole experience was very luxurious.

    Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring. So few tourists, we couldn't believe it! We explored the castle and cathedral and were the only people there most of the time! Plenty of historical places, surrounding towns to visit, not to mention the natural beauty and outdoor adventure.

    The town can be over full in August so try to plan for earlier or later in the year. The walks are still delightful in August and not too busy. It is probably best to shop in Valderrobres before you get to Beceite or bring food or pre book restaurants. Wonderful landscapes and memories to be made here.

    Beautiful country village, narrow streets, stone buildings, exceptionally clean. Perfect for walkers and dog owners and those seeking a real Spanish experience. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. We ate at the hotel which had a good choice on the menu. The breakfast presented by Jose was an absolute feast.
