Great food, friendly personnel, everything worked. Not the most modern cabins or the comfiest beds, but included all that we needed and more. The host took really good care of us, even though there was a mixup in the meal package we ordered. They even prepared nice takeaway breakfast bags for us for 2 mornings when we had to hit the road before breakfast time.

Murcia is a lovely, compact city.

Murcia is a lovely, compact city. All main attractions are within easy walking distance. Having visited the region many times over the years, this was our first time in the city. I would definitely return. A great time to go in September as there is a big festival on in the main square and parades through the streets. We visited all the main attractions, they were all easy to find and no need for public transport, as all in walking distance.

The apartment was clean and spacious in a quiet area with a lovely open view of the valley below from the balcony. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away, perfect for our needs as a family with an 8 year old and beds in the shade were always available. You definitely need a car. Beaches are only a short 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Our favourite restaurant was La Barra Tapas Bar in nearby Atamaria, high quality and very reasonable.

Beautiful town with lots of history, plenty to see and visit. Good restaurants and great shops. It felt very safe as a City and there were no beggars and fewer people trying to sell things as often found in big towns and cities. We stayed for 2 nights when there was the 12 day celebration of Carthaginians and Romans. Lots of costumes, marching and drums, fireworks and it was spectacular. Our waiter at one restaurant proudly explained the history to us. We will visit again.

San Pedro del Pinatar has lots to offer all ages. We have holidayed here for the last two years and will come again for sure. The beaches are clean and safe and scenic. The choice of restaurants either formal or informal are varied and very good quality and value for money. Lots of water sports and a great variety of night time entertainment too. We always walk everywhere and you can easily get around to enjoy everything that's on offer. Also the weather is pretty perfect so that always helps!

The hotel I had booked into was closed but I wasn’t told until I got there. I had booked a room with balcony and bath. No balcony at new hotel and bath plug didn’t fit so I couldn’t have a bath. Couldn’t regulate the air conditioning so had to open window to allow cool air in. Food mediocre, eg smoked salmon covered in oil which overpowered taste. I booked two massages which were fantastic!
