The welcome. The dinner was wonderful and breakfast just what we wanted. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom sparkling and new. The decor and furnishing was quirky and unusual but so nice! Location was perfect for our overnight on way to Santander.

    Great secure parking underground, extremely clean, rooms very well equipped, staff very helpful. Location is more industrial/town centre than resedential, it's on a busy crossroads but no problem with any noise. It's over the road from Decathlon and Aldi.

    Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a modern, clean and well decorated place . There is a relaxed atmosphere, a well run bar, with places to sit inside and outside. The private rooms are lovely, I stayed there before. I am not a fan of the box like bunk beds with only the dnd open (miste of them), it feels claustrophobic. The dinner is lovely and everyone chats. You will meet lots of other pelgrims at dinner.

    Everything was good for an overnight stay on approaching Santander ferry when using an am sailing. The breakfast included was an item of extra value. Car park worth choosing, but be aware only accessible from outside the hotel. They should provide a method of accessing a secure car park from inside the hotel. The door is locked, and staff would not enable access from the hotel.

    It was a wonderful place with NO NEGATIVES whatsoever. Best length of stay would be 3 to 4 days for younger persons. It is worth going through the Picas de Europa to Potes as it is an amazing experience. Breathtaking views. Potes well worth the trip over the mountains.

    It's a friendly town.

    It's a friendly town. Couldn't help noticing few people in 20-50 age group and many stores in the centre were shuttered. The bank ATMs I tried demand €2.75 - €4.00 to withdraw cash, so I only used cards. I'd like if more of the town were pedestrianised as cars were continually squeezing down the narrow streets.

    I went to Carrion de los Condes because my ancestors came from there so I went to see it and though it's small, it's lively - I was the first of my family to return there after 300 years and went to the church where many of them got married but despite all that. It is a lively little town with a good number of eateries, a nice looking park and places to drink. The town surprised me to be honest, I was expecting to get there and there would be just one man with a donkey sat on a park bench looking into the mountain, it's nothing like that at all - well worth visiting.

    It was on the Camino route.

    It was on the Camino route. The staff could not do enough for us. The pilgrim meal was absolutely delicious. In the morning the bar was open for us to have coffee and a snack before continuing our walk.

    Beautiful Parador with stunning views. Service we received by some of the staff fell well below that which we had received at Paradors previously. Menus very much on the small side and not clear . Very dissappointing stay we had better service at one star hotels we stayed in on this trip. we were expecting a bit of luxury it was not what we got.
