I recently had the pleasure of revisiting the same accommodation I stayed at in Galicia, Spain, eight years ago, and I must say, it still holds a special place in my heart. The breathtaking scenery surrounding the property remains as captivating as ever. My son and I spent three delightful days there, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Upon our arrival, the host warmly welcomed us back, and her genuine kindness immediately made us feel at home. It's rare to find such a friendly and attentive host, and her hospitality truly enhanced our stay. We felt valued and cared for throughout our time at the accommodation. One of the highlights of this place is its proximity to the peaceful and magnificent beach. We could easily take leisurely walks along the shore, enjoying the soothing sound of crashing waves and the refreshing sea breeze. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rural landscape surrounding the property is nothing short of magical. We were able to gaze out at the picturesque countryside, with its rolling hills and lush greenery, right from our windows. It was a truly tranquil and serene environment, allowing us to unwind and reconnect with nature. Everything about our stay was perfect. The accommodation itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided all the amenities we needed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect. We lacked for nothing during our time there. Based on my unforgettable experience, I can confidently say that if I have the opportunity to visit Spain again, I will undoubtedly choose to return to this wonderful accommodation. Its combination of a warm and welcoming host, breathtaking surroundings, and proximity to a peaceful beach makes it a truly exceptional place to stay. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.

    This was an overnight stop over for us between two other locations but we spent a lovely afternoon / evening on the local beach with the kids, which was lovely. The room was lovely and just what we had expected. Its was clean and well appointed with a small kitchen for cooking if you so wished. There was a pool area but we didn't use it as it was fairly windy and raining in the evening - standard for this time of year in this part of the world! Lots a parking for our rental. Reception staff were helpful and explained everything for us and the waiter at breakfast couldn't be more helpful. Excellent service.

    I recommend wholeheartedly Hotel Piramide. Everything was perfect: delicious breakfast (a wide variety buffet), super clean and comfortable room with a seaview, kind staff always ready to help. The location of Piramide is amazing: a few steps from hotel there is a litoral path alongside the coastline, Praia Paxarinas and Praia a Lanzada can be easily reached by car. You can't be bored there even if it rains :) We will definitely come back.

    Owner and staff were very very friendly and welcoming. Beside language barrier and all difficulties we had with our flight being delayed everyone was there to help us and I would deffinetly go back there. Rooms were kept nice and clean. Also worth to mentioned thar swimming pool was clean and facilities were child friendly. Breakfast was fresh and nicely served.

    We stayed here for 4 nights in a room with a sea view. The staff were so helpful with any questions we had. The view from the room was outstanding. The breakfast was lovely with so many choices provided. We also loved the thalasso spa which left us so relaxed. I will hopefully return here again, it was a beautiful place to stay

    The location was amazing, it is right on the beach and the terrace options on the ground and first floor were gorgeous! The bed was super comfy and the room very clean, the whole hotel smelled clean. The shower had great pressure and while it took a while to heat there was plenty of hot water.

    Beautiful views and clean beaches.

    Beautiful views and clean beaches. Different coves to discover. Fabulous cake shops. Lovely restaurants . We stayed for 7 nights but felt that we could have moved on after 5. Very few people speak English here and there are some steep banks to negociate.

    The good things:I liked the situation. It was easy to park. The accomadation was comfortable. There was a hair dryer at the bathroom. Everything was clean and the wardrobe was big. Breakfast good. They had a swimming pool although I did not go because I prefer the beach. I recommend to go to La Illa de Arousa, fabolous Praia de Area Secada. I ate in Pazo de Lis (we were alone) and Taberna da Cancela both at Meaño (also alone) We went hiking in Ruta da Pedra e da Auga e Ruta dos Molinos de Lores. The not so good things: I missed a fridge. in the toilet there was not shampoo or toothpaste only gel.

    Wonderful resort town, full of life, nice hotels and restaurants, beautiful beach, gorgeous views, it is a must to visit the other beaches from the area. People are very nice and friendly, the food was delicious, we couldn't ask for more (it's true the weather helped a lot, 30 degress Celsius are not that common in the area, but we booked with 2 days ahead, when we've seen the forecast).

    It seems like nearly every other Spanish beach town.

    It seems like nearly every other Spanish beach town. There is an overly-crowded beach in the center with an equally-crowded promenade around it. Once you get a little ways outside the city the beaches are much better and mainly just have locals escaping the "gringos asados" like me. The town is busy and it looks like there is a lot to do. If you like crowds, then you'll love the weekends during the summer. Traffic was a bit nuts on the weekend. Honestly, with so many other amazing places just a few kilometers away, it doesn't make a ton of sense to stay in Sanxenxo unless you really need conveniences like spas and motos de agua rentals. I stayed 4km out of the center and it was a totally different world -- to me, a better world.
