Very spacious quiet and tranquil. Romantic dinners. Magical star gazing evening with a knowledgable astronomer who showed the rings and moons of Saturn. It has lovely views across the city and a great garden to sit and relax in. The friendly staff is always around to see to your every need. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel. Walking around the city is challenging, as it involves a steep and arduous walk to and from the Parador. It was hot and uncomfortable.Guest review bySwiegersAustralia

Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants.
Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants. The Mudejar design from moorish era very striking. One point I would make that if travelling without a car I would avoid staying in the Parador as there are very few taxis in Teruel and the walk is partly along a very busy road. Also to travel to Zaragoza or Valencia the trains are being replaced by buses for at least the next few months.Guest review byCharlesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Albarracín is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, surrounded by dramatic landscapes, scenic hiking trails, and untouched nature. Its medieval architecture is truly breathtaking, and the local food was delicious. A must-visit for anyone who loves history, nature, and authentic Spanish charm.Guest review byNicholasAustralia - 10.0
Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring.
Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring. So few tourists, we couldn't believe it! We explored the castle and cathedral and were the only people there most of the time! Plenty of historical places, surrounding towns to visit, not to mention the natural beauty and outdoor adventure.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0
The drive up to the Parador was exciting.
The drive up to the Parador was exciting. As we approached Alcaniz we could see it in the distance and as we got closer it was quite magical. We followed the labyrinth of streets to the summit and there it was before us with panoramic views across the country in all directions. Great stayGuest review byFrancesSpain - 10.0
We researched the place. The castle is worth a visit.
We researched the place. The castle is worth a visit. The church is wonderful, but listen for the bells if you want to visit. They will ring on a long oral if there is going to be a service. A trip around the nearby towns through the wonderful countryside is recommended.Guest review byPhilipSpain - 8.0

The town can be over full in August so try to plan for earlier or later in the year. The walks are still delightful in August and not too busy. It is probably best to shop in Valderrobres before you get to Beceite or bring food or pre book restaurants. Wonderful landscapes and memories to be made here.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

This motel is well located when driving from France to South East Spain. It is very good value for money but the decor is a little tired in places. It is however very clean and just the job for a one night stop. Make sure you exit the motorway at junction 89. The menue del dia has four choices pf starter, main and dessert - incredible value!Guest review byKevinGuernsey - 10.0
One of the "beautiful villages" of Spain.
One of the "beautiful villages" of Spain. A lot of these exist, but all are interesting and beautiful. It overlooks the valley and views are spectacular. The square of the City Hall is conformed by Gothic secular buildings and looks as a Game of Thrones scenery. There is not a lot of specific things to see, but a two hours stroll in its old streets is a good way to finish a day of travelGuest review bycarlosSpain - 10.0

The city was physically beautiful and fun for walking around. We stayed for 2 nights. However, the people working in the city were generally NOT welcoming to tourists. We talked with some local people and they said that a lot of locals do not care to be welcoming to tourists. We have been traveling all over Spain for a month (are fluent in Spanish) and this was the first place that we did not feel welcome. We recommend going to Albarracín to see the city, but don't expect a super welcoming vibe in the restaurants and shops. If you do get it, it is a bonus! The staff at our hotel, however, were amazing.Guest review byKatieUnited States
