For a visitor, Valencia is a great palace to come as a tourist. It is historic, full of interesting old and new sights and with a compact centre, despite being one of the largest cities in Spain. It is easy to walk to most sights and there is a great metro/bus/tram system; also, being on the coast, it is easily possible to combine a city visit with a seaside stay - and there are a number of interesting places not to far away. Not just a party town !
Not just a party town ! The strip is great for a night out with endless entertainment but there is so much more. Tapas Alley and Old Town in general, the marina, fabulous beaches, short bus rides to other beautiful towns in particular Altea my favourite.Església de Santa Maria del Consol d'Altea just beautiful and Església de Sant Jaume i Santa Anna in Benidorm old town worth a visit. Alicante is a fabulous town and I would recommend anyone to visit it. The transport is excellent, The restaurants are very good and not a rip off compared to some locations I have visited. The town beach is OK, but we chose to hop on the tram and visit San Juan Playa, which has a wonderful beach. Beautiful fishing town with great bars and restaurants. Second visit here and can't wait to come back. 2hr drive for us from Orihuela Costa but well more the trip. Find hostel Loretto and you'll be on one of the most beautiful streets in the town. I had such an amazing time staying here in Spain with my parents! The apartment was perfect—super clean, comfortable, and cozy. The room was spacious, and I loved how everything was so well thought out. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, making us feel like we were part of their family. They even made sure we had everything we needed, from fresh bed sheets to little touches that made the stay even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time here. Castellón is a very pleasant town with many small piazzas decorated with modern sculptures and plants. There is a good choice of lively bars and restaurants.
