Everything is brand new; I asked and they have just opened a month ago. The location is perfect to explore the old town and is surrounded by tabernas and good restaurants to eat. The room and amenities were super nice.

    it was so beautiful there, the scenery was something off a postcard,we stayed on the campsite in our motorhome, the site was lovely very peaceful, but not for large campers, we are 7mts.. it was very tight, great for smaller camper's We were there to meet up with our son, who came to scatter his wife's ashes. The town was accessable by walking, I am disabled and was able to take my scooter. Very close to Gernika, a very interesting place, with a buzzing night life, lots of bars and restaurants, don't go to the Chinese!

    Everything. We had a balcony oceanfront room. It was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was across from the hotel and it was easy to get in and out.     Go Guggenheim for a few hours, arty and droog friendly. Dont take taxi from airport, 41 euros is a rip off. I know Bilbao has changed a lot since the drug induced 1980's, but really how much food does the taxi man need to feed the monkey.

    Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

    The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available. Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.

    First of all Lekeitio is a very safe town. Walked a lot and always felt safe. It is the best little coastal town with beaches, bakeries, bars, restaurants, parking, grocery and other stores, within walking distance. We stayed at 20 Beheko Kalea and it was a perfect location - the port was about 4 minutes away. Didn't go into the water at the beach, but my grandkids did later this month and they totally loved it. We ate at the bar/restaurants by the port and we also ate at Restaurant Egana. All was great.

    The Museo de la Paz is impressive, a visit there cannot miss during the trip. For dinner it is necessary to book a tablet in advance, as per all the cities in the Basque Country. With the Eusko train you can reach in 30 minutes some villages on the coast such as Mundaka and Bermeo, very beautiful places. You can buy the Barik card to travel at a very low price on all kind of public transport in Bizkaya.

    Visited this quaint beach/surfer town in off-season and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very few foreign tourists. A couple nice tapas bars were open and filled with locals. Charming streets and views of the sea. Frequent, reliable train service available to other towns along the coast and all the way to Bilbao.

The nearest beach is just minutes away The hanging bridge (puente Colgante) is an extraordinary piece of engineering and is the most predominant feature here There’s a produce market - fruit/veg/flowers and plants three times a week. There are boat trips too but these only operate at weekends from 15 September We found a great Mexican restaurant in the old town
