The public transport system is very good.
The public transport system is very good. Les Capucins and PAM are admirable examples of the transformation of industrial space into cultural and social centres. It's just a pity that there's so much 'tagging' to spoil the urban landscape.Guest review byMalcolm - 8.0
Really liked Quimper. It's a beautiful city.
Really liked Quimper. It's a beautiful city. There is a rich heritage, many old houses, half-timbered houses, pedestrian and shopping streets. The cathedral is monumental, original with its two towers of the 19th and its choir off-center. I went to multiple spots/beaches close to Quimper: 1. Phare d'Eckmühl 2. Plage la Torche-Tronoën 3. Pont-l'Abbé 4. Quimper itself.Guest review byMonish MesheriNetherlands - 10.0

Lots of local character, and out of high season not too busy. Some excellent fish restaurants and the Friday market was a step back into the past. Many interesting places to visit in the local area and plenty of good walking locally along the coast.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Roscoff is beautiful and always feels like home.
Roscoff is beautiful and always feels like home. We were lucky enough to catch the end of the onion festival which is always great to see. Fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants mean it’s really easy to eat out. Lovely independent shops and some beautiful walks. I love it.Guest review byAmber - 10.0

Morlaix is a very nice small village that was easy to get to, drive around and enjoy all the sights. It was not crazy busy which is really nice for getting out to restaurants, bars and the local sights. We really enjoyed walking the viaduct and strolling the old town to see all of the old buildings and poke about the shops!Guest review byCalliCanada - 8.0
This is a sizeable town with an attractive old square...
This is a sizeable town with an attractive old square offering a limited number of eateries in early September but the pizzeria has plenty of choice beyond pizza and pasta. It's about 10 minutes to drive down to Morgat on the coast where there is a bit more choice of eateries. Crozon has various supermarkets and an out-of-town Leclerc hypermarket as well as a Leclerc Express supermarket, but the town centre Carrefour is fine for most things. We didn't go looking for activities in Crozon because our comfortable gite was a good base for exploring the peninsula by car, and we were only there for three full days.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Quiet little town with a port.
Quiet little town with a port. Easy to find nice places to eat. Not too touristic during winter. Nice spa thalasso around. Not for anyone who seeks out party places. There is also a reasonably priced Moroccan eatery Le Sable d’Or that serves authentic cous cous and home made baklava! There is also a great seafood restaurant, Le Restaurant La Regate, at Hotel Les Sable Blancs.Guest review bySabrinaSingapore - 8.0
Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors...
Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Bonus points for Heated Pool in our property we stayed and fantastic running trails!Guest review byKarinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Without a car, getting here was tricky as I only had a brief window. It was worth it - next time I will stay in this area - the surrounding area is gorgeous, the town is adorable and I really love the crepes, bread, biscuits — i now need a few weeks of salad alone. I walked along both sides of the canal where you can take a wooded trail. It was so pretty. On one walk, I missed a turn off and ended up on a road but I saw houses, and farms ended up at a pretty temple, so I was happy anyway! Walk up hills to see the beautiful houses…so interesting and lovely in town and out.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
A town full of character and charm.
A town full of character and charm. It was very easy walking around, the locals are friendly. Many restaurants only open for a few days a week from October 1st. Eating Ton Ton, Orizon, all the moules and frite cafes along the front. The cafe du Marche is superb.Guest review byAnne
