Lovely layout, comfortable bed, very clean and convenient for our stay. Had everything we needed, a full length mirror! They gave us an iron when asked, cleaners would have cleaned the room daily if we needed.

Lovely spacious room looked newly refurbished with modern decor and fabulous bathroom. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant such a cool place and so very French chic. Breakfast was brilliant and the staff deserve a mention for being sooo helpful and friendly

Location, hotel, room, parking, food and the owners were all superb. Felt homely and welcoming. The room was spacious and the owner very friendly and helpful. The food from the restaurant within the hotel was excellent and the outside restaurant terrace charming. Beautiful walk behind the hotel along the lake. So relaxing.

Great location for a mid way ‘road trip’ between home in the UK and Southern Spain. The bedroom and bathroom (our picture was a panoramic so really it doesn’t do it justice) were magnificent. The welcome was outstanding. It was such a pity we were ‘en route’ and couldn’t stay longer.

    About 1 hour away from the busy seaside; never have I seen the Atlantic coast as busy overflowing with people. Beaches in busy Med resorts in France or Spain would be known for 100 of people standing in the sea, but not on the Atlantic. We landed in Mont de Marsan as there were no rooms or only very poor accommodations left for our ad hoc trip. Mont de Marsan had been recommended and new to us, a quiet town with a fighter plane base, a charming old centre and all amenities, in the middle of a charming countryside. All this during a heatwave with excess of 35C. An unexpected break from the crazy busy coast, lakes and rivers near by plenty of interesting places around !

    Great place, the vibe is amazing there.

    Great place, the vibe is amazing there. The village center is super charming. The beaches are beautiful, and you have a huge coast to beach walks if you like. Also, the lake there is really nice, I saw people swimming and paddling there, it looked fun, and walk around the lake is also great. The sea temperature was great when compared to what I am used to in Portugal. :) Everywhere you look you see surf! Really amazing vibe there.

    We come here often, at least once or twice a year. The lake is wonderful to walk around and there is plenty to see and do. The shopping is excellent. We loved our apartment at Studio Acacias which was well appointed and perfectly located near our favourite restaurant, Maison du Lac. We felt at home at the Acacias and the managers were incredibly kind. They also make the best hot chocolate ever! The restaurant has always been a treat and even though it has changed manager/owner, we were not disappointed - what a wonderful reception and terrific food. Even our little Border Terrier Millie was completely spoilt at the apartments and at the restaurant! Can't wait to return,

    Lovely town and area with lots to explore by foot, bike or car. Not sure on the public transport links as we drove. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Friendly people. Perfect for our family (with 2 boys aged 13 and 16)

    Excellent location in peaceful wooded area for walking and not far from shopping convenience. The host was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. There was free private parking on the site. The only negative was the lighting and cramped space in the bedroom, otherwise it had the advantage of a self-contained suite.

    The area is beautifully maintained with excellent roads and many cycle routes and forest walks. Families have the choice of the ocean or the large and safe freshwater lakes. Very popular in high summer so book early or be prepared to be a little further from the water. Mosquito density varies in summer but take protection.

    Beautiful beaches....great location.

    Beautiful beaches....great location. Wonderful polite, helpful staff. Our quiet, gentle dog was welcome everywhere except on the beach, which is why we went there 😩 We rang in advance to check dogs WERE allowed on beaches and were told by reception ‘YES’ but sadly all signs indicated they were forbidden, which changed our holiday for the worse! See photos below. 😩

    A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside...

    A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside Bordeaux. We found the beach to be wonderful, although this area is normally prone to windy and choppy conditions. Great for kite surfing. MY only disappointment was the lack of extensive hiking trails in the forest nearby. There were some good trails heading inland to Biscarosse-Lac, but most trails to the north or south are restricted for the military bases.

    Moliets is such a beautiful and perfect place for a summer trip ! From the beaches to the restaurants, from the golf to the surf spots, everyone can find something they like ! Surfing, tree climbing, beaches, walking, discovering little towns nearby, paddling, golfing, and so many other activities! Be sure to check CapBreton or Hossegor if you can, the restaurants over there are just amazing!

    Stayed two nights to explore the town.

    Stayed two nights to explore the town. Left car in free parking and E10 taxi arranged by reception to and from town centre (Visit very helpful Tourist Information office.) Hotel well set back from ring road in large grounds with lake and swimming pool. Excellent restaurant but weekdays only. Friendly reception a great help. Think hotel really specialises for business meetings but, as tourists, we were made very welcome. We were on ground floor - not sure that there is a lift.
