Great place to stay! Also with kids and we were there with 3. Overall great place to stay. The spa is awesome so is the breakfast and restaurant menu. We left a day earlier than expected mainly because of the bad weather. We decided this at 3 pm and they offered to cancel the pay for the last day which is quite special. 10 out of 10 for us!

Cool place, peace, quiet, countryside atmosphere, the smell of cows 🐄 , the possibility of walking. Quiet and dark at night. In the garden you can play boule, ping pong or badminton. Although the Hotel is seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to Luxemburg and the Hackenberg bunker. Despite the small number of dishes, everything is very tasty, ice cream worth recommending.

    I have booked this hotel a few months in advance because I wanted a hotel with SPA and close to the lake. 🤩🏞 Location 📍: The hotel is very well placed at the shores of Gerardmer Lake. It is easy to find on the way, it is very well placed, at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other interest points. Facilities 🛏 : The hotel offers nice cozy rooms with or without view to the lake. I have chosen a room with a stunning view to the lake and mountains 🏞. In the room you have a small fridge, a kettle, shower, toilet, and balcony. In the hallways, you will find water dispensers. The hotel has a private parking space 🚘 and a heated pool. You will receive a nice card holder with the access card for the room, the password for the internet, and the code to enter the building after 23:00. Extra services🪔: the hotel offers SPA services (sauna, hamam, jacuzzi🛁) for an extra charge and with reservation🕔. They also offer massage 👐 or beauty services through an external provider. You can also choose to take breakfast 🥞🥖🥚🍶☕️there for an extra charge. Every service that you opt for will be paid at the end of your stay. 👍👏 You can also choose to have dinner at their restaurant Cote Lac, whose menu📋 you will find in your room.     Lots to do in the lovely city of Metz.

    Lots to do in the lovely city of Metz. The Cathedral was absolutely stunning and so was the Museum cour d’Or - extremely impressive not only for its collection of varied artefacts but it was so well laid out with explanatory information in multiple languages, including English - and it was free! Lots of wonderful places to eat too - had a great meal at La Table with a warm and friendly host serving us.

    I liked the ability to walk a relatively short distances in Verdun, to a wide variety of Cafes and restaurants, and monuments. I liked the variety of restaurants near or along the water front. Also, by car, it is a short drive to major Verdun museums and battle grounds and American cemeteries in the area. So munch to see and comprehend.i would have loved staying longer, but only had a two weeks to see other destinations as well. Also, It will be best rent a car at the Charles De Gaulle airport.

    Lovely French city close to the Luxembourg and German border. The old time is picturesque giving Spanish vibes. There are few farmers markets on the weekends that provide expansive range of local produce. Lots of cafes, bakeries and walks to take. Easy access to the waterfront for a lovely stroll or run. It was more than what we expected.

    Peak season in La Bresse is probably in winter, but summer stays are equally attractive especially for people who like nature and hiking in the beautiful mountains. There are several possibilities on how to access Route de Cretes which provide access to all hiking locations. There is a well equipped supermarket and all other standard tourist infrastructure.

    We stopped for a night and that was fine.

    We stopped for a night and that was fine. If you are alone, it is a nice place to stop for a night or two. Beds are clean and I also saw that in fact they do change all the bed sheets when people check out which is great! Breakfast covers basics like bread, cheese, butter, coffee, croissant, some eggs and bacon, yogurt and apple, cereal and dry oats. Breakfast felt like first come first serve, once things finish it did not get replenished. We were surprised the bread was stale. If you are with the family, rooms are too small. There is one chair in the room for someone to sit and that’s about it. You have to hang out on the bed as there is no other space. Rooms are small so getting around is a bit hard especially if you have active kids who like running around. Bathroom is tiny but water pressure is great. There is not much to do around but there is McDonald’s and Burger King and two massive supermarkets( lidl and another French one) if you are on time to enjoy them. Parking was free and they have a nice cat meeting you at the door.

    An overnight stop on our way further north. Fabulous son et lumiere in the main square. A street full over good restaurants to choose from. Stayed at the Hotel Litteraire Stendhal, which was very nicely done and minutes walk from the main square.
