Perfectly situated next to Pont Valentré, it’s delightful to breakfast outside, watching the river and listening to the birdsong, and the breakfast is excellent too- hot and cold buffet, with very good choice. Easy to walk into the centre for restaurants but there are some close by. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

I love the gardens and parks.

I love the gardens and parks. Having to choose one every other time was mind blowing. Every park has its own unique touch and ambiance making it hard to say which one was the best. The first one I've visited was the one in Cité de l'espace where my heart sunk due to its unique beauty. The Jradin des plantes in Carmes is breathtaking the same. The Japonais Garden in Canal du Midi is just the place for meditation and relaxation. Every town has its own flavour and that makes Toulouse exceptional. From the line B to Line A towns, you won't get bored!

This was not my first trip to Lourdes and I found the destination to be rather pricy. Food is terribly expensive, like a portion of dessert is 9e. The destination only offers the religious aspect unless you leave Lourdes to visit the mountains. The Marian Sanctuary has many ongoing events but one needs to organise oneself, because 100s of people are there.

The hotel is set off a road and once you enter, it is quiet and tranquil. The staff are very discreet and the service is excellent. We had room 16 which had a private balcony overlooking the river Tarn. The room was large, very comfortable and the view was beautiful. The Air Conditioning was weak but we opened the door and the balcony and the through draft cooled the room in the evenings. As we were having a heat wave, the cool breeze in the evenings lasting through to the morning was delightful. The meals are delicious and the service again is excellent. Breakfast is equally good with excellent coffee. It should be noted that we have an electric car and the staff went out of the way to ensure we could charge it.

This town is a gem - the real France and away from the tourist beat. Its cathedral is unique and exceptionally old. A little French is a help here. Very good and inexpensive restaurants. Take the Little tour train for a great orientation.

I have visited Tarbes 3 times , this was in order to participate in the annual Tango Festival, this takes place during August. Whilst Tarbes is a pleasant enough town, I'm not sure that I would want to spend too much time there otherwise.

Great little quaint hotel, absolutely charming. Walk across the street, you have a little church worth seeing. You can see the castle from the little plaza next to the restaurant. Within walking distance to the castle. Everything there was enchanting. The hosts were perfectly welcoming, friendly, helpful. DO NOT MISS the breakfast. It is well worth it. Good local products, ham, eggs. Pains et croissants bien croustillants. Highly recommend!!
