The apartment is modern, fresh and light in à quiet residential area. Bus stops on the doorstep for to and from the centre of Vannes. There is nothing at all to dislike about this property. We were welcomed by Audrey, who gave us all the information we needed to ensure à trouble free stay - she was so friendly and helpful, and came to collect the keys on our departure. All in all, à very enjoyable visit.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Quiberon is a delightful small resort with a great beach, and excellent choice of bars and restaurants and is handily located to enable visits to other locations such as Belle Ille, Ille de Houat, carnac and AurayGuest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 6.0
We went to the Interceltique Festival at Lorient.
We went to the Interceltique Festival at Lorient. The town was virtually rebuilt after World War 2 damage and is therefore not all that aesthetically pleasing in itself. However, a good base for hopping on a train to Quimper, Vannes or other 'pretty' destinations.Guest review byAlunUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Auray is a pretty little town and it has a wonderful market on Mondays. One of the best French markets we have been to. There is plenty to explore in the Morbihan (we used the trains a lot as well as our car) We recommend two sights in particular: 1. the megalith stones at Carnac 2. Going inside the submarine at L'OrientGuest review byDeirdreUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Le Palais is the main town in Belle Ile, which is well named as it is beautiful. It has restaurants, creperies and interesting shops as well as tourist ones. Many people sail here and moor for a night or several. There is a fine 17th century citadel overlooking the town and a little harbour with lots of watch.Guest review byLeeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Pontivy is a pleasant town, ideally located for a stopover if you are travelling along the Nantes Brest Canal. The architecture is very charming, a mix of Napoleonic and medieval buildings. The central area is pedestrian friendly and has everything you need in terms of shopping. The castle was closed while we were there.Guest review byMARCUnited Kingdom - 6.0
We did not like this town.
We did not like this town. The property is in the centre of town and we did not feel safe there. It was very down at heel in the centre although we walked out further to a a supermarket and the suburbs looked and felt fine.Guest review byRichfirsUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The countryside around Larmor Plage is beautiful though Lorient is not the most attractive place. Port Louis is well worth the trip especially if you take the BateauBus which is a steal at Euro 1.30 each way.Guest review byaliciaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Pretty and extensive medieval centre, very photogenic,...
Pretty and extensive medieval centre, very photogenic, lovely shops and eateries. Similarly the port area directly adjacent. If you're going by car the roads and one-way systems are horrible. Head for large car parks rather than try street parking. There are also strange experimental bus lanes that run up the middle of the road and have right of way crossing in front of you. A town and port wander would take a good couple of hours. Buzzes with life in the night.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
