- From $107 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,235 reviewsWe loved our ocean facing room. Our second room was okay but across the building and down the hall. I was hoping to be closer to our second room (our kids are 8 and 13). We had to get 2 rooms because they didn’t have quads available. For Europe, the rooms were a good size. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony off each room (please note they are lovely, but you can’t fit a chair on them like many balconies in Europe). Coffee was good and location is awesome. On the beach (you have to cross one road and you’re on the boardwalk). Every restaurant and cafe is walking s Distance and the Bac is just steps away. Beds were very comfortable. The older, stylish lady was lovely at every interaction at reception. She was very happy and helpful.Guest review byKyleUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 3,379 reviewsIt exceeded my expectations in every way. It was worth the 5 year wait to finally get there. I was very impressed by the constant run of Shuttle Buses which makes a visit to Mont Saint Michel accessible to all. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and decor with pictures of all the famous people who stayed there through the many years. Seeing the Omlettes being made in their beautiful kitchen was enchanting... I enjoyed the Salmon one... Yumm! !Guest review byKathrynSouth Africa
- From $241.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 718 reviewsWe stayed here for 5 days four nights. It was a great location. We could walk for ice cream or dinner everyday and every night. I went to the beach often and found seaglass and really pretty stones. We had a couple massages that were great. We enjoyed the upstairs patio where we could lay out and read our books. The bartenders are very friendly and enjoyed having a drink every night.Guest review byamandaUnited States

Small open city with tons of history. Much of the centre is pedestrianised or with very limited traffic. Easy to get around on foot and has something to see around almost every corner. For drivers, there is ample parking at modest cost.Guest review byLarryIreland - 10.0

The Abbeys are stunning, the town is flat so easy to walk around. There are regular markets, the Sunday one we went to was quite big with lots of fresh food. The harbour is a nice spot with a line of bars and restaurants nearby, my favourite being an Irish bar (O'Donnells) for a well kept pint (or three) of Guinness!Guest review byRaymondUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Honfleur is a beautiful place to visit, old streets with lots to see and explore. Nice walks through parks, by the harbour and around the town. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Easy to get to from Le Harve and only 2.5 hours from the tunnel it’s a great place to start or finish your journey.Guest review byMikec28458United Kingdom - 8.0

I was in Deauville for the Bridge Festival, so chose the location for that reason. However, I would say that some of the restaurants in Deauville are not great value or quality and prefer to eat in Trouville where there is better choice and value in my opinion. It is all down to personal taste, obviously many wealthy Parisians and foreign visitors like to be in Deauville, for the beach and top hotels. Relative to Trouville it is quite smart, but Trouville is more lively and overall more interesting. Next time, I will stay in Trouville although it is more of a walk to the casino.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bayeux is a lovely, well-maintained, safe and easily walkable town. We used it as a base for three full-day tours to the Normandy beaches and Mont Saint-Michel, so we only had time to explore the Cathedral on our own. Unfortunately, the Bayeux Tapestry had been temporarily removed by the time we arrived, so we did not get to visit that. It is advisable to make restaurant reservations if there are ones you do not want to miss, but seeing the sites was more of our priority. We were willing to eat around 6:30 or 7:00 and we did not have any problem finding a satisfactory meal.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0

We arrived in late afternoon at hotel and toured island first in evening hours - great idea as less crowded and still light enough to wander the streets and alleys. Toured the abbey the next morning - around 11. Already getting crowded - should have started earlier. But well organized and flows well within the Abbey. Well worth the visit to see this unique and historic structure - magical.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 10.0

The cliffs of Étretat are spectacular and definitely worth a visit, but note that lots of other people think that too! So there are crowds of people, tourists from all over the world in this small seaside town. Parking is difficult to find or you have to park 1,5 km away from the town center.Guest review byIEVAGermany - 8.0

Cherbourg is dominated by a huge harbour where your ferry comes in. The town itself is long from east to west, spreading out from the harbour. From north to south it is much smaller. The harbour area and the promenades are worth walking around and the central area at the Place Charles de Gaulle is the best area to relax in. It's also the ideal town from which to see other nearby attractions, such as a D-Day beach, the Bayeux Tapestry and Mont-St-Michel, all of which I visited. One word of warning - the French railway service isn't the best. The trains are subjected to many cancellations and delays and the ticket machines in the stations frequently refuse to give you a ticket! Railway problems aside, the town of Cherbourg and other parts of Normandy are worth a holiday and I'm so glad I went.Guest review byCLIVEUnited Kingdom
