- From $132.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 995 reviewsVery happy with my stay in Castle Court. Hotel right in the centre of Beaumaris, walking distance to all attractions, pubs and restaurant. Opposite castle. There's no parking outside the hotel but we have left our car in Green Car Park which is literally 5min walk from the hotel, it costs 5 pounds for 24 hours. Our room was spotless clean and heating was on full speed when we arrived, it was lovely warm and welcoming. Everything you need was in the room including hair dryer and toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Very spacious and comfy bed and plenty of sockets in the room, so could charge your phone and hair dye in the same time :) Usually its only 1 or 2 and and you have to switch something to get something else on. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. There's lovely cosy pub downstairs for non residents but there's also lovely lounge for the hotel guests. So we actually got drinks from the bar and spent time in the lounge around fire place what was amazing. Very relaxing stay and we definitely stay again if in the area. Good value for the price. Can't only comment on the breakfast because we have left very early and didn't eat in the hotel .Guest review byAga SzefUnited Kingdom
- From $188.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 489 reviewsWe stayed in one of the gatehouse rooms, a little away from the main hotel. It was absolutely charming, with a sitting room and private parking. Excellent bed and excellent shower, with good pillows (which make an amazing difference between an OK hotel stay and a great hotel stay). Dinner and breakfast at the hotel we’re both very very good, with excellent options for breakfast. The restaurant has beautiful views. Staff was incredibly attentive and very nice. Overall, the hotel was quiet, very clean and very comfortable. definitely would recommend to stay here.Guest review byRobinUnited States
- From $132.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,000 reviewsEverything here was lovely, we were exhausted arriving after a many-hours delayed international flight and diverted trains with a young child, and the hostess greeted us with a warm welcome, made sure we got a dinner order in before the restaurant closed, and showed us to our room. Good food, clean place, nice staff. Overall very good experience.Guest review byJenniferUnited States
- From $255.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 867 reviewsIt felt like a was visiting a manor house for a visit rather than the usual hotel. We had dinner at Le Dragon Rouge and we all declared it was the best food we had during our entire trip! Kudos to the chef. Likewise the staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the old-fashioned elevator a real adventure to use.Guest review byAmandaUnited States

Even during a power cut in the evening when it was dark, due to a tornado,, the staff were helpful and professional, did not panic and dealt well in the situation. Holyhead itself isn't a great place.
Holyhead itself isn't a great place. Lots of empty and scruffy building in the town centre, although the harbour area out the other side is nice with the maritime museum. The only real highlight of the town centre are the remains of the Roman fort. The surrounding area including Treaddur Bay is much better for a visit. My evening trip to South Stack was really good, including a surprise historic settlement site across the road from the car park.Guest review byMatthewUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Menai Bridge is a lovely town, full of cafes, bars and a variety of places to eat and importantly, lots of independent local shops. The bridge, of course is the highlight, it is a really attractive feature - probably the most attractive bridge I have ever encountered. There are boat trips to Puffin Island which as you probably guessed hosts a colony of puffins between April and August, a wonderful sight!Guest review bySandi FawcettUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There is no signal or very weak signal on the island so prepared to be unplugged for the majority of your stay, but it's a refreshing break. Lovely little island, the high street had lots of little shops but they were either open for not very long or just closed, we visited the jail and the courthouse which were both interesting and informative, a good price at £11 for both tickets. We visited the Taylor Swift themed cafe too nearby which was also very nice. PSA don't get excited if you're a fan of chinese food and see a yellow building one on maps... it was impossible to find, but we did give up quite early due to storm Amy.Guest review byhoward - 10.0

Llangefni had everything we needed, including a wide selection of nearly all the main supermarkets! We also enjoyed an excellent Chinese takeaway from the one with the red signage. There is a one-way system to get your head around. It's well worth parking in the car park which gives access to The Dingle - a path by the stream and through fabulous trees which give way to fields and hills, ending up at Llan lake/reservoir. It's worth persevering on the path to see the lake. The other reason is to spot red squirrels although we weren't lucky.Guest review byFrancesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Ohhhhh....Trearddur Bay is just lovely. Instantly at home. This curved, delight of a bay has everything you need to interest the family plus your family dog. Beautiful beach with rock pools and golden sand beach areas. Perfect for throwing that ball for your doggy friend. Sunsets.....amazing.......rainbows.....amazing. Just stunning.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom - 2.0

We were given a room in the annexe which is usually kept for workers who are in Anglesey. It was a very poor room no storage for clothes small toilet /shower room cleanliness was not good the whole place needs a revamp both inside and out . This hotel is not worth the £450 we paid for 3 nights inc breakfast and your company should do more to check these places out prior to recommending them,we had no mirror in the bedroom no hot towel rail in toilet or indeed any place to put wet towels our stay was a complete disaster and we will not stay there again even the kettle had a dead fly in itGuest review byArchieUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The beach was very sandy and not too busy.
The beach was very sandy and not too busy. It was dog-friendly as well. We visited our friend who is one of the locals so we didn't travel about much. We are coming back a month or so later as enjoyed our stay that much!!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
The shopping Centre by the famous station is nice.
The shopping Centre by the famous station is nice. We ate twice at the cafe there. Service was good, as was the food. We used a local fish and chip shop, and a local Chinese takeaway. It's easy to get around, and handy for A55 to explore further. Close access to the river for walks and for ground level views of the Straits! Anglesey. as a whole, is a lovely place. Ancient origins and magical in places, still.Guest review byGlenysUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wales is always a great location to visit.
Wales is always a great location to visit. Rhosneigr had been a family destination for several years prior to this trip, though last visited in the previous century and the eye's much more jaundiced these days! It's relatively quiet out of season, which was the main reason for coming at this time. The island is beautiful and hasn't changed so much in the past 30 years, except better roads (with FAR less caravans!!!).Guest review byMillington - 10.0
We loved the " feel" of the beautifully decorated caravan.
We loved the " feel" of the beautifully decorated caravan. The space theme in the bedroom with two beds is so tasteful! Outside is a great sitting area and beach toy box. Games and books for youngsters are a lovely bonus! It is situated very near to Benllech shops etc and all is a short walk away.Guest review byAnnUnited Kingdom
