We didn't visit Reading.
We didn't visit Reading. We went a day before and a night after to Hanley-on-Thames with children. It was hardly 20-25 minutes drive and it was great outdoor activities combo area with various playground/ bouncy castle and riverside walk, various options available for boat hiring/ boat trips. Parking is quite tight in later hours of day, so I recommend if anyone like to visit here, try to reach in first half otherwise all two car parks get full too soon.Guest review bySwati - 10.0

Normally stay at Heathrow when we have an early morning flight but decided to give Windsor a try. Turned out perfectly as traffic is light early morning and made it there in less than 30 minutes. City is fun, historic and very attractive.Guest review byWilliamUnited States - 6.0

This hotel is actually very close to Heathrow airport so not really in Slough. I did drive through Slough but nothing I saw would make me want to specifically visit this town. The attractions shown are not actually in Slough.Guest review byLouiseUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Loved the outlook from room.
Loved the outlook from room. Although lake wasn’t quite as near as expected. Loved the geese especially flying in in the morning. Didn’t stay long but enjoyed afternoon walk around Newbury with coffee and cake in tearoom on canal side.Guest review bykarinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love bracknell because of its lovely shopping centre.
I love bracknell because of its lovely shopping centre. The fact that it's quiet and peaceful. It's close to Ascot which is a place I love. It's a train ride away from the heart of london, in less than an hour you're there. There are some lovely park there. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there.Guest review byTambini - 6.0

My room was mid souterrain with a quite busy road at the level of and 1.5 meters from my window. 26 degrees Celcius in the room that could not be changed. Got a new room at the same level which slowly got too warm too. Breakfast OK.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It would have been helpful for the restaurant to have sent the account to reception for checkout. We asked if there was anything left to pay and were told it was settled via booking.com. Perhaps if we had been asked for a credit card at check-in rather then we would not have been chased for payment of the meal some days later. Despite this - the food and hotel stay were greatGuest review byMarkNew Zealand - 10.0
We loved the actual hotel.
We loved the actual hotel. Redolent with memories of a past age it has been modernised discreetly and caters to every comfort. Set in spectacular grounds and including a spa and heated outdoor swimming pool, time just flies here. The food is delicious and very varied. The whole experience is set off by the staff: friendly, attentive and extremely pleasant. We shall certainly be returning to this delightful hotel.Guest review byMaria Francesca
