- From US$255.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 143 reviewsAs on of the reviewer said — the owner is a legend! He welcomed us with so much warmth, showed us the incredible mansion (dating back to the 12th century!) and its grounds. Staying here feels like travel in time and return back to medieval England. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bath was perfect after a long day. But the true highlight of this place has eight legs of pure love and grace waiting to welcome you! While I was admiring the property, my husband spent most of his time enjoying the company of Duke and Molly, two amazing dogs. You must visit this place. I dare say it was one of the absolute highlights of our trip!Guest review byWiktoriaPoland
- From US$118.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 1,043 reviewsI booked into The Bell as I was meeting some of my family for the first time and travelling down from Milton Keynes thought it a good idea to stay the night. Well I fell in love with the place. The buildings are just beautiful, such an amazing history and the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The food was something else also. A very pretty town with some lovely little shops. If ever I find myself in or near Winslow, I would stay again. I recommend it to anyone. Can't speak highly enough of it 😊Guest review byTinaNew Zealand
- From US$102.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 1,994 reviewsThe staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. For example, we needed to leave our luggage at the hotel before and after checkin/checkout and they accommodated with no problem. They offered our daughters hot chocolate the moment they entered the breakfast room. They helped us get a taxi during a super busy weekend. They had delicious food for dinner and breakfast. The room was delightful. We loved everything about this hotel!Guest review byCaitlinUnited States

Beaconsfield is a lovely small village which we enjoyed walking through with its own independent shops and restaurants. We then drove to Bourne End Marina which is the head of the River Thames and is stunning. Finally stopped at Marlow around lunchtime and was very impressed with this town, fab shops, restaurants and bars.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We did not see a lot of the town, which has a long history.
We did not see a lot of the town, which has a long history. There are some interesting and beautiful places to visit within easy reach: National Trust places to recommend are Hughenden Manor, Cliveden, and Greys Court. Other places are The Chiltern Hills, the Coombe Hill Monument, The Hell-Fire Caves and many more. The town has a good museum, and parks, and is not far from beautiful spots on the Thames such as Henley, Marlow, Maidenhead etc. And the walking around is on well-marked paths.Guest review byMalcolmUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Restaurant does not meet the standards expected for a hotel charging these prices. The menu has very limited choices and the quality of the food being served is second rate . The pool changing areas need updating .Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Quiet, quintessential Englishness to the town.
Quiet, quintessential Englishness to the town. Holds great memories for me as I grew up here. Historic and set in beautiful countryside and with easy access to the new town where there is a well laid out plethora of shops, cafes, restaurants and other services for you to explore and enjoy. If you enjoy a hike into the rural surroundings then there are plenty of options too.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I loved the facilities on offer like the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym, the grounds are also well maintained and beautiful. The room was perfect no issues at all. The staff are a credit to the hotel they are polite, friendly and always their to offer any necessary assistance if needed. Also the food and drink on offer at the hotel was varied and delicious.Guest review byDamian - 6.0
Nice ambience of quaint history town.
Nice ambience of quaint history town. The town has many pleasant buildings. It is too quiet for my taste and there is enough to do for one half day only. The White Hart is one of the best places to stay, but might be too noisy for some visitors. Its a 40 minute drive to Bletchley Park which is a world class visitor attraction, very interesting and very well done.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
