Rob and the staff were very welcoming and made our stay there an absolute pleasure. We dined in the restaurant, which was the best meal we've had since touring UK. My favourite was the porridge for breakfast, best I've ever had.

Our recent stay at Feldon Lodges was a delightful escape to the serene beauty of the Cotswolds. Nestled within stunning grounds, the lodges provided a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature's charm. Everyone we interacted with at the Lodges was friendly and courteous making us feel welcomed. The rooms designed with both style and functionality, provided a perfect blend of coziness and comfort, with attention to every tiny detail. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the cozy ambiance made it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of culinary offerings, from the hot breakfast choices to a buffet of numerous breakfast items. Feldon Lodges offered a perfect retreat in the Cotswolds—beautiful grounds, tranquil surroundings, a golf course view, fantastic breakfast, and rooms designed for ultimate comfort. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful escape in this picturesque part of England.

Perfect for relaxing and kicking back for a few days. Quiet afternoons in the lounge area or a drink and meal in the bar/restaurant, the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Food in the Hook Restauarant was excellent as was the breakfast. Having stayed at dog friendly hotels in the past, the experience at The Fish takes it to a whole different level, our little dog also had a Pawsome stay.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel room was cozy (as was the bed!), the common areas were inviting (some lounges had wood-burning fireplaces!), and the pool, hot tub and steam room were very relaxing. The breakfast included each morning was delicious, and the other meals I experienced in the dining room were wonderful! The cocktails were also amazing :)

This was my first trip to England and it was thrilling to stay in a hotel that looked like a small castle. The decor was so rustic and beautiful. We loved the walks around the town and the restaurants and parks. Very big old trees, the statues of the hare. The parish in Watermore was very welcoming when we joined the congregation for worship on Sunday. Unfortunately, the air raid shelter seems to have closed for the public. We would have liked to visit it. The roundabouts are very complicated and difficult to negotiate.

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. It's a lovely village as has numerous nearby villages that are definitely worth visiting. We were looking to have a chat with locals in a pub and weren't disappointed. Everyone we met was friendly to us and we certainly enjoyed the various village pubs we visited. We particularly liked the Blue Boar in Chipping Norton (sitting outside basking in the sun) and Chequers at Churchill - great atmosphere with good food and service. Also close to Diddly Squat and Farmer's Dog which we visited and were lucky enough to meet Gerald at the Farm shop. We didn't go into the shop or the pub but as a visitor we enjoyed the alternate experiences available.

Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town.

Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etc

I believe Chipping Campden to be overall the best location in the Cotswolds. It has everything you need including pubs, a cocktail bar, restaurants, shops, a small mini-market, and the high street is picturesque and atmospheric. Just a lovely little town with great access to the rest of the Cotswolds. Da Luigi Italian restaurant is a particular find, with wonderful food and very friendly service.
