- From US$407.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 387 reviewsStayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. A big shout out to the staff, as they are the best feature of the hotel. The pools, the spa, the cinema room, comfortable bedding and Sticky Toffee Pudding! The staff at reception and restaurant are very friendly and polite..every single one of them!! Nothing is ever too much for them. We were even offered to use the spa post check out. The rooms are nice and decent size, with comfortable bed and stunning views across the bay. We were lucky with the weather so, spent an entire afternoon at the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and spa area was great too. However, the highlight remains the cinema room, which you can book for a private viewing. The Sticky Toffee Pudding definitely deserves a shout!Guest review byPradeepEgypt

We did not spend much time in Exeter but used it as a base to explore Devon. One day, we went north to Exmoor National Park, Ilfracombe and Westward Ho. The next day, we went south to Exmouth, Blackpool Sands and Torquay.Guest review byAdarshIndia - 10.0

An attractive small town that benefits from looking out over both the sea and estuary. The shops, station and ferry (for Starcross) are all within easy walking distance. Exmouth is at one end of the Exe Estuary Trail: we cycled from Exeter (and back at the end of our stay). This is a very scenic, mostly off road and mostly flat route, highly recommended.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

llfracombe is amazing for the picturesque walks and views, and watching the sunset. They can be quite hilly, but there are plenty of benches to rest on. Our favourite place to eat is the Admiral Collingwood Wetherspoons Pub, prices are good and it is ideally situated. Also the ice cream parlours are lovely. There is crazy golf, and a nice nature reserve to visit with a small waterfall we found.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely promenade and my partner loved the shops! We ate in our hotel. Busy little town with narrow pavements in places but we got around OK. Could be somewhat tricky though for those needing to use trolley walkers.Guest review bywilliamUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The historic town centre, Bayards Cove, South Town and...
The historic town centre, Bayards Cove, South Town and Warfleet Creek are outstanding. Great character and charm, stunning harbour views, well-run boat trips on the River Dart and a fantastic range of shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It's a very well-heeled town with genuine star quality. But... the parking is a total nightmare if you arrive on a Friday. Its a historic town not designed around cars and you won't be able to just turn up in the town centre and find a spot. The park and ride around two miles from the town centre is a welcome facility, however the council's policy of creating a mobile app only payment system at the car park and no card payments means fiddling around with a very fickle and unreliable app which won't verify your registration details if the mobile signal is weak as it was for me, doesn't detail the chargeable period in the car park clearly leading to widespread confusion among a long queue of frustrated travellers when I arrived there. To add to the appalling cock-up of a system, there were people in a queue for the bus who had been waiting for nearly an hour! On a Friday afternoon. Its just pathetically inefficient and in a county which relies on tourism for a large chunk of its income. The Council in Devon have no respect for visitors in adopting this inefficient and discriminatory fiasco as there were older people trying to park in all of the towns I visited who weren't familiar with apps. The council are letting down Dartmouth and the whole county along with the businesses there. This parking frustration really put me off visiting Devon again. It used to be so simple to visit the county and park and pay. Shame on you all!Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It was a Monday night and very quiet - luckily the fab Tarko lounge was open. https://thelounges.co.uk/tarko/. Great burgers and deals every night. We had a bit of a walk by the river which was OK but would have been nicer in the sun!Guest review bygillifUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lynton and lynmouth are just beautiful places to visit. Plenty of great pubs and places to eat set in a very picturesque environment. The cliff railway was interesting to ride on and the Exmoor visitors centre was very informative. The valley of rocks was amazing to visit.Guest review byBob ThorntonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely little town with boutique and independent shops with nice places to eat. Surrounding countryside was lovely, even in November when we went, but threatened by lots of new housing development only served by country lanes. Car very important to see the sights out of town. Everyone very friendly including at the Mill in Uffcombe which is well worth a visit.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A beautiful place away from the City hustle.
A beautiful place away from the City hustle. The Caravan stay for awesome and my parents and my family loved it. The caravan booked was for 7 people including 2 kids, which had 3 bedroom and 1 toilet and one toilet and bathroom attached. We booked for 3 nights, and on the second day we decided to check if we could extend the stay for another 3 nights, but it was a shame that caravan was booked and we could not extend our stay. Our car was parked in front of the Caravan we stayed. The nearby food joints was about ~10 to 15 mins walk from the location "Seafield Holiday Park". "Affinity Devon Outlet Shopping" was about 10 mins drive from the location we stayed. I would surely recommend to visit/stay in this place.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom
