There is nowhere quite like it.
There is nowhere quite like it. You can walk along the coastal path, explore the nature reserve, shop at independent stores, eat at a variety of places (we did fish and chips at Copperfish and high-end pasta at Cwtchina Italiana), enjoy the wonderful views and completely relax. We visit every year and are never bored.Guest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The Kings Head pub served excellent food, easy access to Rhossilli Beach either by car or by walking. It is also quiet. Easy to reach other places on the Gower usually about 30 to 45 mins away maximum.Guest review byKenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Charming hotel in a peaceful and rural location with very comfortable rooms, fabulously atmospheric reception room and a welcoming log burning fire. Staff who seem genuinely pleased to welcome you and assist with anything you ask. Dinner and breakfast delicious!Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Sea wall is undergoing maintenance, so there are lots of cranes and tractors, temporary fencing, blocked paths etc, so not the best time to visit. I’m also not keen on all the new chain restaurants, but they seem very popular. Slightly out of mumbles, the beaches are still beautiful and easily accessible by public transport.Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Super place with lots to do but at the same time, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful beaches within a mile. We actually stayed in Scurlage, just outside Reynoldston. Chips Ahoy fish and chip shop was amazing with large, thick and tasty cod available. The buses are excellent in the area but do expect hold ups on the narrow roads if you are in a larger vehicle! The Brittania Inn, is worth a visit, if you get chance.Guest review byAlison - 10.0

Beautiful village with 2 great pubs all in walking distance . The village is in the middle of all the famous beaches Oxwich Rhossili etc , a 25 minute drive to them all. Coastal path from village to Salt MarshesGuest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I loved the location because it if off the beaten track.
I loved the location because it if off the beaten track. Unmade up roads so a little tricky driving to the property which meant it was always peaceful. Lots of wonderful walks on the doorstep. Car had a rest for the week! Friendly neighbours.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The location is great whether you want to explore the local area on foot, or get a bus or drive to other parts of the Gower Peninsula. The beach is stunning and there are miles of footpaths within easy reach, lots of sites of local interest/history, great pubs for food and drink, and stunning views from every viewpoint. We loved exploring Port Eynon beach and the nearby headland with the salt house, Culver Hole and Labyrinth. We had a fantastic walk around Rhosili and the Worms Head, just a 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed a trip to Weobley Castle with another walk around that area, and the incredible Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bays are just along the coast, a nice walk or an easy drive.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The coastal scenery is fantastic and largely unspoiled.
The coastal scenery is fantastic and largely unspoiled. Out of season a number of cafes and shop were (understandably) closed. We were lucky with the weather, but it would be sensible to be prepared for wet and windy spells if visiting during winter or off-peak timesGuest review byLukeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There were a variety of restaurants within walking distance with access to the coast path. I walked to Caswell bay and back one day and had another wonderful day at Rhossili. I was impressed at how the area had been made accessible - a great concreted coast path Mumbles to Langland Bay with changing places toilets at Caswell bay and Rhossili.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom
