- From US$293.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,974 reviewsLoved the breakfast room, full of light and beautiful views over the Gorge in the morning. The staff were friendly, but professional, and breakfast was good. The interior of the hotel is designed well, dramatic colour schemes which really work, but at same time it’s comfortable too. Particularly enjoyed the bar area with its stunning views over the Gorge at night. The bedrooms were very simple, but tastefully furnished, classic/modern design bathroom with some period pieces in the bedroom, a nice nod to the history of the building.Guest review byAnna MariaUnited States
- From US$199.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,699 reviewsFriendly helpful staff team. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and freshly cooked food from menu. Honesty bar if you wanted a quiet drink in the lounge as some of the local bars are noisy. Right in the center of the old city so lots of choice for lunch or dinner.Guest review byRosy15Philippines

I was there for work but it's a lovely city.
I was there for work but it's a lovely city. I did find the homeless people unnerving. I normally study in London so I am sadly used to homeless people on the streets but somehow the Bristol ones were more threatening. I particularly enjoyed visiting a wild swimming site and a local National Trust propertyGuest review bykATEUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Clifton was a beautiful place to stay. Plenty to do & see.
Clifton was a beautiful place to stay. Plenty to do & see. Bus service was great too. Art Gallery was a nice touch. Plenty of places to shop. It is a busy place. Clifton suspension bridge is a must to visit. Beautiful on sunset. Advanced parking advised.Guest review byandrewUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Passing through from the airport to Temple Meads station,...
Passing through from the airport to Temple Meads station, the airport is awful, being rebuilt round the passengers. The buses were on strike, and the bus waiting area was a scrum. Airport employees didn't give a toss. The bus route into Bristol from the airport goes through some very dodgy areas. Train station is a dump, badly signposted and with erroneous information on the destination screens. Train out to Worcester was overcrowded and too hot, with passengers obliged to sit on the floor outside the toilets. I hope never to return to Bristol, its airport or its railway station, and the GWR train I was forced to travel on was an absolute disgrace.Guest review byAnonymous
