They gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. There was a lift to our room and the place was very clean, tidy and tastefully furnished. There were allsorts of different styles of furniture which made it slightly quirky but with a warm friendly feel. Our room wasn't bg, but I knew that when I booked and it was very adquate for our needs. I love Bristol I have been down 3 times this year. I like Gloucester Road and the hustle and bustle the fruit and vegetables displays on the pavement at really good prices. I lived 25 minutes away from bristol for my entire life until last year, It's absolutely crammed with things to interest a wide range of tastes. Bristol is the UK's most painted city, there's street art everywhere. Fantastic music scene with numerous venues including Bristol Beacon, The Exchange, The Prospect Building, The Marble Factory, O2 Academy, Llloyds ampitheatre on the floating harbour and many more. Great galleries and museums - the Arnolfini is always worth a visit. History - Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge; Brunel's SS Great Britain and the replica of the Matthew & Bristol Blue glasswork sat the folding harbour; National trust properties including Tyntesfield House.
